Of course if I'm right some would consider it a major SPOILER:

The 5th's overworld area....OH MY GOD.
So I just beat the second temple, and I have a theory about how the game ends.
Of course if I'm right some would consider it a major SPOILER:
That's exactly what I thought. It's the only thing that makes sense. Maybe more. I don't know.

The collection and upgrade system also adds another layer to the game. Granted, it is hardly a fresh concept in gaming, it is one that works pretty well in Zelda, and is more than welcome by me
So far, this game is really feeling like a right mix from my favorite games in the series, plus a few other RPG elements that have been left out of the series. The combat feels a little like AlttP. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but I guess the way your sword can bounce off of an enemy's if you don't swing right harkens back to the knights in AlttP, and may be the most accurate 3D depiction of that concept. The sidequests, and characters remind me of both TWW, and MM which IMO, had the best support characters. The way you get around is also very much like TWW.
I just gotta say, this game seems pretty big so far. I'm in between the second and third temples, and I'm at about 25 hours of playtime (I always take Zeldas very slow my first play through. Even though I've beaten OoT to death, I still went through OoT3D like I've never played it.), and there are still a lot of items I haven't found any of on the collection screen. This game seems to have the most side quests out of any Zelda so far too. And I also like the Goddess blocks. They make you explore, and they are often rewarding, again, in a similar fashion to TWW cause you usually get a Silver Rupee of a Heart Piece.
This might beat out TWW, and MM for favorites behind AlttP, and OoT in my book
