Shadow, you should officially release this to the quest DB. It's definitely bug-free enough at this point, and it might attract a wider audience that way.
I've actually attempted it. The database at AGN/Zelda Classic dot com is giving me a few issues when I try to submit it. Also, I really don't want to submit something in someone else's name when I didn't make it. It's a bit odd.

I been walking this dungeon for ages now with no results
I don't know what I'm doing any more - entered this castle from all locations outside
did beat that guy many times already need one more time with the hammer
I feel is on the upper right side of the building , but didn't find it!
I don't get it,, I've found this two or three times on past games played by me
meanwhile I'll keep on search....... icon_blink.gif

I am totally fine with this and think it's a great idea.
In fact, discovering and reading this thread has made me want to re-play the ol' quest again. Alot of stuff has been tweaked and fixed, and I don't really remember all of the solutions to the puzzles I put in there anymore.
Finally, I hear there are problems with the Medallions in Twilight. If you want, ShadowTiger, you can use scripts to just force them to work. If I have time, I'd be happy to do that myself. Actually, what I should do is go back and re-make the bosses of several areas with scripting so they're less clunky...

on the crypt , need to kill the guy three times, so the room with the hammer , will open "
I killed that guy three time in several chances,, but never saved the game when quitting ,
fatal mistake, till today,, ....got the hammer already.. now I can enter the predator domain

Yes C-Dawg, you should be congratulated for making a quest that is on virtually everyone's short list as one of the greatest custom quests in the ZC universe. DoY is frequently mentioned in the same breath with games like the Hero of Dreams and Lost Isle. For that you should be proud.

the wand its on the mountain inside a big waterfall on capitol port
the book its on enigma castle
once you get the hammeraxe you have to go on blester tower to get the golden gauntlets
how can you enter on devouring forest if you dont have golden gauntlets?

Just so I understand properly, this is the revised version with all of J-Man's fixes, plus some additional fixes? So this is, as of now, the unquestioned most playable version of this game? And I should use the 183 player?
Because I attempted to play this some time ago, and found it as brilliant as anything I've played, but had to quit due to so many continue bugs causing a level of frustration that made it not worth it. But I'd absolutely try again on a less buggy version.
Having just read the thread a few days ago, I think I can answer.
I gave Jman the un-passworded quest years ago to fix up. He did that for a few years using the 183 editor, I believe. Then, at some later point, ShadowTiger took up the project and has brought the game up to the most modern version of ZC. I am running through the game myself using the most recent release available at ArmageddonGames.net.
