Didn't Koopa make a Greasemonkey script or something that allowed you to change the color scheme?

Yeah, he did. I used it for a while, but I forgot where it was. Maybe I can try to dig up the link sometime later.

This almost has 1000 replies. Are we starting a new thread after? Judging by the fact we gave up on that policy with the spam thread, I'm thinking no, but just makin' sure. icon_deformed.gif

"I checked again and I was missing an important file.
Here's another link:

This one should work.
Sorry for the slightly unfriendly download page (you have to wait a few seconds, ads etc.)

Koopa"

"It's a zip and you'll need to extract all three files to the same folder then open the html one in firefox - then follow the instructions.

Koopa"

Rem, I doubt it. Also, why didn't the script work for you? And have you tried it since he overhauled it?

Edit: Apparently that download link expired. You'll have to ask Koopa for it again.

Ahm, not sure. I did everything right, but my computer was just being dumb, I guess. icon_shrug.gif I actually exchanged messages with Koopa trying to figure out the problem, but nothing worked. icon_razz.gif

So why does this topic only have a four-star rating? I'd expect at least a 4 and 1/2.

I gave it a five, I think. Come on, it's a thread about nothing! How much better can you get!?

I've always thought that thread ratings were a fairly useless feature. Threads generally last only a few days. Only those that get stickied or are a running thread that is designed to consistently be bumped are really worth rating.

Considering that the only threads anyone's actually rated are this and the spam thread, both of which are pinned, I'd say most of the people posting here probably agree with you on that.

The capability was always there. It was just disabled or ignored. I remember someone suggesting it sometime in like 2004 and everyone was like no.

As far as I can tell, it's still disabled everywhere except for OtBP.
