In MQ, I just beat The Well after the Forest Temple. I like the Well in MQ, they managed to almost make a new dungeon out of it. Also, as I recall, the Water Temple was actually easier in MQ.
And yeah, when you beat the first game, Master Quest will become selectable along with the original on the title screen. Both games have their own three saves.
EDIT: Am I the only one who is disappointed by the way they did the boss challenges? First of all, you get the bare minimum needed to fight them. This completely takes out some of the fun challenges like killing Ghoma in a few seconds with the Deku stick trick (Though I still killed her in 27 seconds without it) and, not having the Biggoron Sword at all kind of sucks, especially if you are going for record times. I think they should have just had the game remember what exactly you had at the time you fought the boss, then maybe add something interesting like a 3 heart mode, or a double damage mode. I feel that this part of the game was kind of poorly planned out.

Doesn't Link do the spin thing whenever a secret is triggered (chest appears, ect)?
I don't think it' meant to happen though, it just looks very unnatural.
Also what happens when we hit 1000 posts?
We open the Majora's Mask 3DS thread.
Also, I noticed something. I'm not sure if I remember this correctly, but wasn't the Goron's Ruby on that central platform thing in Goron City before you beat Dodongo's Cavern in the N64 OoT? It wasn't there when I played the 3DS version.

So you know what I hate? The stupid horse race! Why? It forces you to accept the second race, thus making it impossible to earn your money back.

EDIT: While on the topic of the horse race, enjoy this epic ragtime piano sight-read of it:

Actually dude, if you're riding around in the pen, jump the two fences inside it, directly in the middle. Unless they changed it (doubt it), you'll get two blue rupees with this method. So that's some income returned. And... it was really 50 rupees? I coulda sworn it was less. O_o

Dude. You get a horse. I'm pretty sure that's worth way more than 50 rupees.

You pay 10 to ride, which you can get back inside there. Then you BET 50 on the race. You never lose these 50 unless you lose the race. If you win the race you then get to race for the horse, if you lose that you come off clean.
Also, I use 1~3 at the start and get the front of him, then I keep myself in position either:
A. Right in front of him so he can't get past me, or:
B. right next to the fence to cut the corners better to keep my speed at max.
I feel that the race was much easier in the DS version, but that may just be from experience with playing the game.
