That might even be the cheapest way to get a GameCube controller right now. The game will probably be 50, the Adapter is already 20, so the controller is 30. Cool.

Has it been confirmed if the gamecube controllers will have extra long wires like the white Gamecube controller being sold in Japan?

Eh, $10 off for buying the bundle is kinda disappointing.. Needs to be about another $10-20 less for me to be able to afford it.

I'll most likely get the bundle since most of my friends prefer the GCN controller.

Ditto. Very much ditto. I'll be going to MagFest in January and I'm pretty darn sure that half of our time will be spent playing Smash Bros, and GCN controllers will be used by 90% of the people there.

They just don't die!

First Reviews for the 3DS version are starting to come in....

IGN: 8.8/10.
Nintendo World Report: 8.5/10.
Nintendo Life: 9/10.
Gamespot: 8/10.

Mostly 8's and 9's in the reviews I've seen. However, it seems like every highly-anticipated game has to have that one review that gives it a lower score than everybody else just to create clickbait and anger those who are looking forward to the game. That dishonor when it comes to Smash 3DS goes to Gamesradar, who gave the game only a 6 out of 10.

Some of the criticisms in the reviews seem to be about the inconsistent online performance and a couple of reviews didn't seem to like Smash Run. Also, it seems you can't change the item frequency in Smash 3DS according to a couple of reviews (meaning if you don't want items, you have to turn every item off).

I'm doing the midnight release thing tonight. We're not that desperate to get our games, but we stay up late anyway and figured it might be fun to go out late at night. Where I live, it's pretty unlikely there will be a whole lot of people there.

There's no midnight release at my GameStop for some reason, so I'll be getting mine when I wake up. Then play it for like one hour before working until 1AM. Then probably not getting time to play it until Saturday night after a ten-hour shift. My job has terrible hours.
