Thanks Petoe! Finally beat that lv4 miniboss.(with half of a heart remaining icon_sweat.gif ) After getting the chip, I decided to go and get a few items. One of these would be the magic boomerang. So I go in the cave and I got to this part with two rocks blocking your path. They look like they could be bombed but bombing and nothing else I tried works to get them out of the way. How do I move them? And by the way, is the yellowish looking pendant thingy the amulet?

'tis sir. Also consider getting the Mirror Shield. It's in the same cave connecting the purplish/dark greenish woods (South of L3.) with the beach in the NE corner of the overworld. You do need to hit a bat to activate the torch though.

speeddeamon, in the screen with those rocks you cannot destroy with bombs, hit the skull on a stick with your boomerang so that you can get to the chest with the Magic Boomerang. icon_smile.gif

You need to step on the whistle tile. He'll play the music automatically. If it doesn't play, be sure to step EXACTLY on the middle of the tile. Walk all over it if you have to.

Otherwise, you probably didn't manage to get the music piece, which is rather odd.

Remember, a lot of events need you to be in a precise position. Some doors which use special tricks to unlock need to not be stepped into from the middle, but from the side that the lock is on. (I.e. left or right side of a 2x2 door, not in the middle.)

Okay, I just beat the final boss, and am doing the rest now. G'haa. I hate timed events. @ @.

Overall, I would gladly say that Levels 1 and 3 were my favorite. Why? Quite simply, because they didn't confuse the HELL out of me. >.< lol, Level 2 had me wandering around so incredibly long. Level 4 was almost worse. (Other than the fact that I finished it in a single day, whereas all the other dungeons had me stuck for days at a time. I was in Level 2 for a month, on and off.)

Level 3 is just a great treat, I would think. Plus, as everyone agrees, the music is phenomenal. It almost makes me want to make a quest. icon_blah.gif

In the level 4 boss, I am having a hard time figuring out how to kill the boss. I dance around and knock out the two red buttons, then when the boss goes up to the center I'm stuck.

I shot arrows at him/her/it. (It looks like a her. Bouncy things on the front. lol WTF DFW/Peteo? icon_blah.gif ) Arrows seem to work for the most part. If not, use the wand.

Hey I've gotten pretty far in your quest, and I think it's excellent. Now I'm in the place where you get the red tunic. There's a room with two music tiles (one is yellow) and playing the Ocarina doesn't work. I've tried playing it all over that room, and I don't know where else I'm supposed to go in the dungeon. Thanks in advance for any help.

In the left-most parts of the dungeon, there is a bookcase between two little 1x1 brown wall banners. Push that bookcase to the left. You can learn that dungeon's tune in there. It's only really used once though. icon_razz.gif

Thanks, but how do you open the shuttered door in the first room on the left?

EDIT: Never mind, I didn't think it was possible to kill those Death Gibdos.
