I think that Her Down-b move is the same as her normal-b move as well, as it mentions that if you down-smash, You fire the gun at your feet.
See, here's what really gets my proverbial goat. They said "Down-smash," but not Down-B. Down-smash is usually reserved for Down-A, am I right? icon_shrug.gif My currently default processing implies that it'll be the Down-B, but the "smash" implies A anyway. How interesting.

I don't think Samus is a character I'll use very often, especially as I think that Zero Suit Samus is a bit underpowered, personally.
I'd still use her. I'd totally use her, with no regrets. If she's agile and can move quickly, then she'll be right up my alley regardless of what her attacks are. So long as she doesn't suddenly have a lack of gravity like .. er .. positive-suited Samus has. icon_razz.gif

Pretty cool. This means that her jumps are probably going to be Ness Lucas-like in quality, as she has no real recovery move.

Probably just inaccurate verbiage by the webmaster. The update is "Zero Suit Samus: Special Moves" so I'd assume it's limited to B (special) attacks.

Probably i-suited Samus would be more accurate.

Wow...they ruined ashley's theme. That song was so awesome in Wario Ware. That's too bad.

I think Varia-suited Samus would be most accurate icon_razz.gif

ShadowTiger, I really don't expect Brawl to play similarly to Melee at all. Looking at the Wii's controller, as well as the the new game mechanisms that have been revealed, it doesn't seem likely. Brawl is going to have a very different type of gameplay.

Quoted for truth. icon_frown.gif

I think the original theme was so much better. But, I wonder why Nintendo would include the tune for SSBB. Maybe it's just one of the alternate music for the WarioWare stage.

Kirby's Final Smash seems to have changed slightly since the first Trailer. It's more similar to how the Cook ability works in the Kirby games. It's going to be fun watching that Final Smash in action!

I listened to the Japaneese version of the song and it sounds.... weirder, In my opinion. Seeing as the Japaneese don't really have a word for "Ashley", it sounds really out of place in the rest of the lyrics. And I think that the japaneese version is slightly more accurate in the vocals too.

Looks like Kirby's Final Smash is gonna do moderate-high damage to everyone and get one item for every victim. Could be really good if you get something like a Starman or Golden Hammer.

Didn't listen to the theme.

For anyone who hasn't heard the original theme you can hear it here:

I hate how the new actually tries to have a "good" singer.

Eh. The new one's okay, but I thought that the voice in the earlier version fit WAY better. The new one sounds like a college student for some reason.

So is there going to be more or less characters in SSBB?

I'm going to go with the theory that you have been living under a rock for the last 64 pages of posts. Yes, there will be more characters.

Would just like to note here that SSBB will be in playable form (with tournaments!) at E for All on the 18th.

Hm. Check the Japanese update page, too. There's another song there, from Speak! DS Cooking Navi.
Not particularly exciting, but I wonder if anything else has been missing from the English update pages...
