this part for RC3 , is getting into troubles , got chopped and generate error

It's kind of obscure. When his mouth is open, four Like-Likes spawn in his mouth, invisible. Kill them with whatever.

Then his mouth will close. You need to use the wand/fist thing on one of the yellow'ish spinning flowers around the room. From what I can tell, there's no indication as to which one it is, but here's a bit of a hint. In order of times his mouth closes:

1 - Lower Left. (Second from the left.)
2 - Upper Left - (Second from the left.)
3 - Lower Right - (Second from the right.)
4 - Upper Right - (Second from the right.)
5 - Lower Left
6 - Upper Left - (Next to the mouth)
7 - Upper Left
8 - Upper Right
9 - Lower Right - (The only one left. )
You can ignore this next part if you'd like.

Then afterwards, use the wand on the upper-right most flower as soon as you can walk around in the dry room. Absolutely nothing happens, and I don't know why C-Dawg didn't just remove the secret flags entirely from that room. The warp type is set to "Cancel warp." Kinda funny really. But okay... So you don't have to do that.

Don't know what happened, downloaded one part apparently for " RC3" , is causing troubles
started the game, went to the deku tree (beginning of game),
at one point, I must jump down . once down there , link try to walk into the back wall , game halt,
can't avoid that -- need re-start

This .qst file is for RC4. I'm also not really sure at the moment what causes the player to move around as soon as they appear in another Dmap. But just in case, in both iterations of the Deku tree, I've moved the player start location away from the door. Try it now, in RC4 though.


Oh also, the link to the RC3 quest file no longer works, because the URL points to nothing now, considering the filename is RC4 and not RC3 at this point. No big loss. Trying to force people to use RC4 anyway.

i beat the plant boss on vines then i went to a room that i could not cross before then i got something on a chest and it dont apear on my inventory it looks like a shield but it was not, maybe is a key or something

what i have to do now ?

i have to go on mirors cave?

honestly i hate that music from mirors cave and cristal mines :S

You do have to go to the cave of mirrors, yes. It's an odd little area. I've never truly navigated it much myself.

What's supposed to happen is that there is an item you must collect from both the (end of) the Cave of Mirrors and the Vines area that will unlock the pedestal (Looks like the master sword pedestal from A Link to the Past) to get you to Link's Nightmare, I think.

But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to make that work again, at least not without using a script. I want to preserve the original screens that it used in case I get them to work, but eh. Can't wrap my head around it. It's a bit odd.

So I placed a work-around portal near the screen with that pedestal anyway. When you have both shield-type items, (Medallions actually.) you can take the work-around.

the Medallions did not work i got both of them

i made it to marathon , it looks really scarry the size of the map it looks huge

All the Medallions are supposed to do is let you actually walk to the top of the Pedestal, where you're warped to Marathon or something. The same way you got to Marathon is what the Pedestal does. That's it.

thats too bad , i tought i would get the level 4 sword
actualy i found the miror in mirors cave but i already got it on excavation tour

i still dont see nothing about the side quest i you have to supose to do to get the level 3 sword

Whoah. Well, the L3 sword is the red and yellow flashy sword. There are pleeeenty of posts in this thread talking about it, actually. You need the flippers, the Dream Whistle, and courage to get it. Oh and the gall to swim in a fountain.

The level 4 sword is attainable once you have the L2 Gauntlet from Blester Tower, a Super Bomb, and the Mirror Shield. I think it's near the Gorons.

what happen to the revised --- doy2011.qst , still working --- I got to many issues with RC4"

Yep, the quest file is now only for RC4. If you find a bug that's in the engine, and not in the quest, (Though do report either...) please post it. The bug can't get fixed if you don't post it.

i can not use RC4 because it starts me to a new game

Even if you copy the zc.sav file into the RC4 folder?
