All out of potion, were might I find a potion selling shop?

Gekos: You're talking about the white card? No, that's not the Chip, it is the card key to the locked door in the lab.


paul_doo: One of the secert shops is in the souteast part of the swamp. Bomb the middle of the bush formation. Another shop is deep in the Cultist Cave which locates under Bhalstok Castle.


ST: Hmm... maybe that one missing key is the one you find from the beach outisde of Lv3. Many people seem to miss that one. But oh well, too late to get that now as it is a lvl specific key and you wouldn't need it anymore.


DiLemma: You are pretty well equipped. But do you have the Magic Boomerang? If not, you could get it from a cave that is located on the eastern edge of Vasshinghon Lava Flows.

I actually did get that one. o.o I got a lot of the keys, including the one on the parapet, the one to the lower right of Floor 1 after the glass floors, (Was probably Floor 2.) the one on Floor 5, and I don't recall which else.


Actually, what I'm REALLY wondering, is how to get the Amulet! I've entered the Master Dome, and died about three times before I managed to blunder my way through to get a single key. Dunno what I'll use it on now, but .. heh. Wow. A key. So where's this mystical, magical amulet that lets you see things that the developers put a semi-invisibility cloak on? Thankie. ^.^ I'm loving it so far. LI was quite literally the reason I went home today.

BTW, nice Catacombs boss. Bloody amazing.

Edit: Although I didn't open the chest I seem to have the chip as I'm getting the fire from the rod. Do I still need to open the chest?

Just, I don't personally feel that the trial and error of having to be dragged down into pits by hundreds of hands is fun, and is anything but a waste of time. Which screen's hands (And actual hand coordinates/quadrant on that screen) must I fall into to acquire the Amulet? Also, do I need the Flame Chip to get it first?

No, you do not need the flame chip to get the amulet. Furthermore, look at the shop in the wastelands, get grabbed there first, and activate a spike switch, exit the wastelands and re-enter, from the shop, go right one, and up one, get grabbed there and lower the spikes and claim your reward.

Did you by any chance happen to walk behind the chest? It sure sounds like it if you got the Chip.
But anyhoo, no, you don't need to go back there anymore. The chest on the roof happens to be buggy in a way that if you wlak behind it, you get the item without opening it. Now don't spread the word of this embarrassing bug, it was my mistake though I wonder why none of the testers caught this. But this is one of those "good bugs" if you know what I mean.

And the Amulet "puzzle" sure is annoying, but since Master Dome and the Amulet are optional, Wolfie decided to make getting the Master Dome item a hell.

I was off to lvl 4 when I saw the above post about an amulet in the wastelands. I tried the sequence suggested by DFW by the shop. I don't see any switch, and right one, up one is a dead end facing a cliff. Am I missing something?

I think it's the screen to that right. Like, two right, one up. I really don't remember triggering a switch on the first screen, but the switch that you need is on the second of the two mentioned screens. (The one with the sign northeast of the shop.) Then you need to trigger ANOTHER switch for the spikes on the same screen as the amulet, but I don't recall which screen would trigger that one. Try for hands even more north than those screens.


Got the L3 Arrows, BTW. Awesome, heh. Oh, and the Dragonscale Mail. You guys really know how to treat Dragons well. Or at least their namesake.


OH! And, there is a Heart Container Piece to the west or Southwest of the entrance to Level 1. there are three ribcages side by side, with a brownish tree underneath the second one. May I assume that we need the fire chip for that?

Yup Shadow, you're right. There's a switch to be had on the shop screen, then two right one up, another switch - viola - now you got an amulet!

Hm. Here's one for ya: Two screens east and one screen north of the big blue tree a bit southeast of L4 in the Wasteland, there is a cliff with a single red vine combo on it. How does one lower this vine?
