I just played the demo, and here is my order of preference from best to worst out of the 5 that are playable:

Link

Pikachu

Mario

Villager

Megaman

I agree with this list, only swapping Pikachu and Mario.

Edit: Playing the demo a lot more. mine feels more like this now.

Pikachu

Mario

Link

Villager

Megaman

Personally, I found the worst character to be Pikachu. Here's my list:

1. Mega Man

2. Link

3. Villager

4. Mario

5. Pikachu

This doesn't mean I think any of these characters are bad, it just means I prefer whom over whom. Expect me to be using Mega Man as one of my mains. He doesn't play like a Smash Bros. character but he fits perfectly.

I noticed you can actually grab players by pressing A while holding the shield button. I'm sure I'll be changing the controls anyways, but now the demo controls make more sense to me at least. :)

It's always worked like that. Not very many players use it like that, but still...

I am not a fan of R-Shielding from the 3DS demo. I hope we can make R-shielding L-shielding on the final version.

That's been a norm since the first game, I believe. That's the only way I use to grab.

In the demo you can only use the circle pad to control your character, will the full version allow me to use the DPad instead?

Not 100% sure, since then they'd have to either, program a run button to take its place, or double tap the d-pad to run.  It'd be a mess all around.

Considering Brawl let you use the D-pad via playing Wiimote only, I'm sure it wouldn't be a mess at all.

Playing Smash on a Wiimote is a mess.

That control scheme I can see as difficult to use, because it lacks so many buttons.

Except this is exactly how I play brawl, and it works perfectly....
