Based on character I already know I enjoy and those that immediately interest me, this is likely my main lineup.

The demo was released on the eShop today for people who didn't have access to a code! I'm downloading it now.

So just played the Grand hell out of the demo, time to give my opinions on everyone:
Something I noticed about the main menu of the game, is that it seems very unorganized, which is odd.

I also played a bunch of the demo. I don't think there's anything too spoilery here ...
I'm having a blast with Mega Man! They did a great job of capturing the spirit of how he plays in the classic games, while still adapting him to fit well in smash. He feels very unique compared to other Smash characters, and has a variety of powerful moves. My biggest issue is with the Leaf Shield, which I can't really figure out a good use for. It comes out slow, doesn't hit very hard and on the whole feels rather meh. Maybe I'm missing something. I'm looking forward to trying his custom specials when the full game comes.
The other character I've tried a bunch is Villager. Final smash pocketing aside, I have to disagree about him being overpowered. He's got some good moves, and I'm sure he can be very powerful if you put in the time to learn his diverse moveset. But personally, I had a lot of trouble finding K.O. moves that would hit reliably and not be very predictable for opponents. These are just my first impressions, of course, and I didn't put as much time into him as I did Mega Man.
Anyway, I'm having a great time and can't wait for the full version. ![]()

I haven't got to play any Smash game in a while, so I think I'll wait (at least until I manage to get a hold of Brawl) to make my roster until I actually get to play. Looks fun to make, but... what I already said. ![]()
That being said, I'm totally psyched about trying out Megaman!
... I wish there was a way I could get a demo on my Wii, 'cause that's the only system I own right now...
@Aevin: Maybe the leaf shield is just supposed to protect you from projectiles?

I just can't get the feel of Megaman. I'm not usually a projectile user.

He was hard for me to get the hang of at first, too.
I kind of just play him like you would in his own games. Jump and shoot, and use his other specials when the situation calls for it.
Leaf shield seems mostly useless, although it can guarantee a grab sometimes.

Same here. My brother mained Snake in Brawl, but whenever I played as him, I was all but guaranteed to lose.

This is probably what my mains are going to be... Or at least one of them will be my main.
I probably don't need a spoiler tag on this, as all of these characters are on the official website and are unlocked by default.
EDIT: Aevin has informed me that I do, in fact, need the spoiler tags. Thanks!

I just played the demo, and here is my order of preference from best to worst out of the 5 that are playable:

Pikachu
Mario
Villager
Megaman

I agree with your list, GrantGreif! But that's just me.
