I'm currently toying around with the Legend of Grimrock Map Editor. Looks pretty awesome, actually. Most of the options are kind of hidden, but it can do decent-enough things now.

But man... creepers are annoying! <.<.
*Snip*
But yeah, Half Life is fun.
I've been meaning to get a hold of the original Half Life for quite some time. I remember playing the Demo on a Disk and I really got in to it
I'll probably look around for a copy for the PC.
Its just I like using PC's for FPS's. So much better feeling <3.

Wait until you get to Disc 2 of Grandia 3. It gets pretty challenging.
It gets harder? Man I thought it was already hard enough

You you fight Mr. "Peabrain" and that evil lady. That's where it gets hard.
Oh those two... Man that Evil lady as you put it, (I don't know her name) Looked like she would be hard if I had to fight her... Crap I guess I do have to fight that crazy women >.<.

It's pretty good. The chapters seem a little bit cut off, but I'm hoping that the final chapter will be a long one, and a fitting conclusion.

Well, I know it took me long enough, but the Steam Summer Sale convinced me to buy the complete Half Life series back in July. It took me a while, but I finally finished the first game, and moved on to Half Life 2. I think I almost like the first game better so far. I like how it started out as a survival horror game, then slowly moved into a somewhat-tactical first person shooter. Half Life 2... well, started as a fun enough FPS, then did an abrupt about face into a full-fledged horror game. I don't care what anybody says, Ravenholm is freaky as heck. So many types of Head Crabs... the one that takes you down to one health instantly needs to burn in a fire...
But yeah, Half Life is fun.
HL2 is still a great game but the first game does a lot of things better, I will agree.
Also, sorry to disappoint, but Ravenholm is the only scary place in the game. You eventually get out and the game never goes into survival horror mode ever again.
Oh, and by the way, those poison mudcrabs that reduce you down to 1 HP only ever appear in areas where there are no other enemies around, you quickly gain all your health back a second later, and they have no other attacks. So, in the original game, they're completely harmless. In mods, however...

Well hey, you know it's only ten dollars on Steam, right? Or, the Black Mesa HD remake of it was just released yesterday (for free). Granted, it's not "finished" (it doesn't have the last level done yet), but, well, I think the trailer speaks for itself:

I think I might be okay with this. Ravenholm was fun, but I'm not sure I want an entire game of it...
Well then, yay. I'm perfectly alright with them not being dangerous. They freak me out way too much.

Despite all the horrible gameplay, the game was a lot of fun in two particular spots: vs. King Arthur, and vs. Dark Queen. King Arthur was a fun boss fight that never felt unfair. (except for when my controller was glitching and registered every swing as hitting the pause button) The only part that felt out of place was the third sword swing of the second close-quarters attack, where you have to ignore timing and swing the second you get a chance. My time rose to about an hour because I was trying to visually time it like you're supposed to do for EVERY OTHER ATTACK.
Dark Queen was a really fun boss battle as well, except for the sudden change in controls. I died many times because I mis-read the initial prompt and thought that dodging was "Z" and the Control Stick left or right. I didn't realize that dodging right was hitting the jump button. Once I had that figured out, and actually got used to the controls and stopped accidentally wasting my Soul Surge by trying to dodge to the right, (Z/B feels more natural for dodging than Z/A) the fight was a total blast to play. I kind of wish the entire game was done like that, just a huge number of boss battles with the same control scheme as Excalibur Sonic.
Anyways, long story short (too late for that), awesome final boss, but the rest of the game was so bad that if I had to play it again, it wouldn't be worth it.
I've never played Half Life. These are the same guys who did Portal, right? If the remake is free, I'll have to give it a try. I've got to know something, though. How well does it ease the player into the game? I'm horrible at FPS games, other than Portal, and that was only because I didn't have to worry about things actively trying to kill me. (To be fair, the only one I've really spent any time with was Halo multiplayer against my cousin, once)

And yes, Half-Life and Portal were both made by Valve. They take place in the same universe too, believe it or not.

Lots of stuff about Sonic and the Black Knight
I agree with you, for the most part. In general, the level design was horrible, while the King Arthur and Dark Queen fights were great. However, I disagree with you in that I actually liked the Knight fights (the post-game "Lancelot Returns" one especially, I'm crazy, I know). And there were one or two stages that I thought were okay (I honestly don't remember which, but there were a couple). And I kind of liked playing as Shadow, because, well, warping around and hitting people with swords is kind of badass in an immature way and I enjoyed it.

Yeah, they're both made by Valve. In fact, Portal takes place in the same universe. There are tons of Half Life references in it (Like the slideshows about Black Mesa in the offices, and GLaDOS's vague references like "I'm the only thing standing between you, and them.").
But yes, it eases the player into it pretty well. You start off with just a crowbar to fend off the smaller creatures, then you get a pistol to learn how to use guns, and then your arsenal slowly builds up as the enemies become more advanced and require more thought. I'm admittedly horrible at FPS's too, but Half Life does a great job at letting you get a feel for things before slowly becoming less involved more difficult.
