So I ran around Eldin Volcano a bit myself after letting my friend mess around. I'm fairly impressed, but I feel stupid because of not figuring out one way to go for a while.
Very stupid, even though I was given a hint. Heh heh... whoops. But I stopped after diving into a cave, which reminds me: Bird statues. At first, I groaned; I didn't like this save system in Majora's Mask. But it's actually a very good system, since there are plenty of statues to save at. Plus I guess that whole "this is only a temporary save" part of the owl statues sorta helped weigh in on my dislike of them in MM.

Also it is so awesome to be able to use the spin attack in 3-D for once.
It never really worked in 3-D before unless it was in the Wii version of TP
(I only played the GCN version).
What was wrong with it before? It worked the same way it did in 2D games, and the instant spin attack was hard to pull off in OoT and MM, but I never saw it as not working. O_o

The thing I've had the most trouble with is flying.

Having to use extreme all-directional motions in an ACCURATE manner, while performing very specific gestures, can be really challenging.
And another thing: If you flick the remote in any direction, he'll flap and go higher. Why they didn't explain that in the tutorial is
way beyond me... and what up with the times when the Loftwing randomly starts flapping wildly and slowing down and losing altitude?

Oh, and on a quick additional note: the music in this one is *especially* good. It competes with Wind Waker and Spirit Tracks for best soundtrack in my opinion.

Wind Waker maybe, but I didn't find Spirit Tracks' soundtrack to be very... memorable. I remember, like, two tracks from that game. And that's about it. As for SS's music itself, I enjoy it for the most part, but for some reason, I went into the flying section one time while playing Gusty Garden Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy. And somehow... it just seemed to fit.
