I drew a comic thing

First one I've made in a while that I've liked quite a bit. Weeee comics.

Ah hah! I feel like I can relate to that just a bit too much.

And Yoshi, I like it. It's much better than anything I've ever tried to make out of clay.

@Lemon: LOL, I love it, and I totally understand that. That happened to me with several things >.<.



Cecil is totally my new Hero. You'll find out why below. Just wanted to say, before then, that this was practice with Perspective, Cecil, and "Epic Action Background," which I got lazy with toward the end XD.

THE STORY
This all happened in my dream last night. I was given instructions to infiltrate the enemy stronghold, retrieve a copy of their blueprints on their latest scheme, and report back to headquarters.

When I first arrived at the Ninja Base, it was totally surrounded, and there didn't seem to be anyway in. So I scavenged to find an entrance, and I noticed that there was a hole behind the waterfall beginning from the 3rd floor, so I quickly and silently jumped into the moat, swam behind the waterfall, and began climbing. Once inside, it was totally dark, so I had to rely on my touch senses; I was sliding against the wall down the hall with the sound of the running water hitting my ears.

I finally hit the end of the hall, found a ventilation shaft, and crawled into it. As I was crawling through, I found the main computer room, which had the master computer that held all of the enemies' future plans. I took a look around what I could see from the vent, climbed out, and found a place to conceal myself in case enemies were to come in. No one in sight, I began my hacking of the computer, but as soon as I got an image of their latest plan on screen, an alarm went off, and I found myself totally surrounded.

I was captured, and they put me into some cold, dark cell in the basement. I thought I'd be sitting in there forever, but out of no where, Cecil comes and begins kicking some ninja hide! Just like what you see above, he was high-jump-kicking ninjas all over the place XD.

He was trying to escort me out, but I told him I couldn't leave until I finished getting a copy of their blueprints, so he, ahem, bodyguarded me while I was doing that, and we made out escape. The leader of the Ninjas was hunting us down as we were running away, but then I woke up o-o.

SO, yeah, that's where this came from. A total dream drawing, but you know what, I still feel he's my new hero x3!

It was a quick sketch I made when I was making a speed video. It looks different than i usually draw, though. I like it.
But his left arm and sword came out weird.

You guys didn't think I had this skill, huh? Well, i've been drawing Link forever, the farthest time was like 2nd or 3rd grade (About 8 years ago)

It's not horrible, per se, but I'd suggest you work on you proportions (namely the strange size/shape of the arms and the large, feminine hips. Other than that, all I can say is work on the shape of the head.

Yeah, i know I drew the arms and legs weird
I like the hips, it makes him look girly. But like I said before, I know it came out different than I usually draw.

And honestly, i can't find anything wring with the head. He's supposed to be anime-ish.

I'm not very good at it either, I always do it wrong.

While it's ok, and in many cases good, to post a rough draft online, it doesn't do you any good to post something that is nothing but the framework.

We can point out what is flawed with it, but the simple fact that it isn't complete will loom over any constructive feedback we give.

What will anyone think when they look at this? "Looks like a doodle."

The ink in your pens and paper in your household may not be infinite, but don't assume that this piece is unique in any way. You can always replicate it and fix any errors you make.

The point I'm getting at is that you shouldn't just post pencil sketches on here and ask for advice. Finish the thing, and if you're really devout to the image, redo it with the critiques in mind.

So I'm doing a series of action shots. Since I'm not very good at action shots, I figured I'd draw nothing but action shots until I get good. Every time I do one I like, I post it, give it a title, and mark it with the date I drew it and the song I was listening to when I drew it, since music is my greatest inspiration.

I don't mean to sound like an egomaniac, but I critiques on my previous post would be appreciated. I mean, it's been a generally accepted rule here for a while that you don't post in this topic without saying something about the previous person's art.

I don't remember that being a rule. But, it's a good drawing! The clothes are a litte weirdly drawn, but it's not a big deal
