Picked up a copy yesterday. One of my good friends works at a game store, and they go it in early. I'm already in the Faron woods now

This is the case.

This is Link sitting on a toilet in the Knight Academy.

Link obtaining an item known as the "Goddess Sword".

Link talking with Fi, the spirit of the sword.
I have to say, it took me about three hours to get to the Faron Woods, and at that point, a good chunk of the Skyworld is open, and there are a lot of little things to do such as side quests right off the bat. Not to mention, once you get used to the controls, of flying, it is quite fun to sore through the skies. In effect, it replaces the ocean in TWW, and the world map in Z2 (Both in different ways. You can fly to islands, but you can also enter areas of the surface world) and it more engaging to pass through, which makes it feel less boring. There is also a sense of great scope once you get to flying. I'd say to put it briefly, that this game finds a good balance between Majora's Mask, and Windwaker. It might sound weird, but maybe when others play it, they'll see what I mean.
