Strange, one skeleton speaks about a "extremely hard" place. If the "under Bhalstok" is Master Dome, then which is the "extremely hard place"?

When asking about the Fire Boomerang, you told me that I don't have to worry about it until later. However, now I am told that no more secrets after the final boss. Do I get the Fire Boomerang when I start the quest again? icon_blink.gif
I know that it's probably the biggest secrets, so it's hard for you (DFW, Peteo) to answer...

Actually, the extremely hard place is the master dome. It's not located under Bhalstok: that place is the Cultist's Cave. The Master Dome is in the canyon.

I beat Lost Isle!
I think... I beat the boss, rush through the armageddon, leave the island with half a heart, see the ending and credits with heart beeping, then... Then I went there and got that I really wanted and finally went back to Lost Isle.
The thing is, many people were surprised about the ending, however I didn't find anything surprising, in fact, this was my expectation, except for some things... But even those weren't so astounding. Did I miss something? Do I need to beat the boss again? Might be now I need to choose "finish game" after the boss?

Anyway, I found all but 2 HCPs and used no potion at the boss and at the armageddon.

Seriously, I was expecting something like Link goes back in time and he will be either the boss, the hunter or the founder of the town...

judasrising: Yes, you can get the Blue Tunic before getting the Ladder. You only need the Wand to get into the Svalbard Temple. icon_smile.gif
The tough 2x2 part at Lv3... well you need a Boomerang to activate that one crystal to proceed. Maybe you are missing the Boomerang?

CC: Yeah, people were surprised by the ending and many loved it, but maybe you were just expecting a bit too much. After all, LI is just a ZC quest. icon_wink.gif
Anyhoo, I always would like to know everyone's finishing time and amount of deaths. Would you be willing to reveal your numbers?

I had about 50 deaths and 36 hours. (I had about 20 deaths in Master Dome).

LI wasn't less than I expected, if we don't count bosses. I already knew that some common items will missing (like my favourite, the hookshot).

However, I still don't know why were people surprised... Did they expect other? I really don't want to spoil anything here. However, the story of the boss was great. Also, according to what Link said at the end... he whole planet has such evil demi-gods scattered through, so you could make a new game, Lost Continent, where Link fights a lot of such kind of evil demi-gods. Then comes Lost Planet...

So, all in all, I'm satisfied with LI. Just look at my sig, ordinary quests can't beat HoD out from there... icon_arrow.gif

Anyway, I miss 2 HCPs, and I don't know how, since I got them from the dungeons, and according to the LI item map, I found all items...

EDIT: Of course I liked the ending, just wasn't surprised. I really enjoyed the pictures at the credits... And as I said, Link's words were inspiring... And there are a lot of interesting things, like how that evil demi-god appeared there and some things that would be spoilers to speak here about...

Ah, ok. It just seemed like your expectations weren't met with LI, but then I saw your sig and realized that LI must have been a satisfying experience for you since you named it as your favorite. icon_smile.gif

You did pretty well btw. 30 deaths isn't much. Oh and I wonder what pieces you are missing... Levels 1-4 have one each and... well... I dunno which ones could be the missing ones. *shrugs*

I gotta say this quest is amazing, it shows that you guys put so much work into it, and the amazing things you can do with the simple engine the first zelda ran on. icon_biggrin.gif But i've finally aquired the wand, and im wondering where I should take it before I finish level 2? I've seen a ton of unlit torches at distance range, but im assuming I need the "fire" upgrade for the wand before I can use any of those.. where should I head first? I've explored all of the overworld I can, I just hate re-tracking through places.. im already at 7 hours, lol! But again, beautiful quest you guys.

Oh, another quick question.. the "race" type minigame in Oderra, is there a trick to that? I did it once and got 5 arrows and the skeleton said I wasn't fast enough, but each time I try now he wont talk to me afterwards, did I break it? (hopes not)

zalomar, the Oderra minigame is too unfair for poor Link, so you have to cheat to beat the minigame. icon_wink.gif Once you get the Lv3 item, you can show that silly pirate how fast you can be.

The Wand... well with the Wand you can get access to the Svalbard Temple at the Horgrus Summit. That's a good place to go if you need a stronger armor. You can also grab the Candle from Dasa Woods with your Wand.

Number of blocks, number of passage. You must realize, that there are different amount of blocks at each side. There are 4 unit of them.

Im pretty sure you can also get a hcp in the graveyard with it. You have to do something in the screen first before the wand will work on the trigger. And good luck if you plan on going past the summit for the blue tunic. That place can be quite tricky with very few hearts.

I finally got the 3rd sword! Muhahahaha!!!

Anyways, I need help in the wastelands with the maze. What the heck does the opposite of magnetic disposition mean? And walk until it is time? Time for what? Does something on the screen change so you can tell when to stop going? Help please!

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!

Nevermind...I can load Lost Isle and play the game with no problem, but the ZC Menu (not the Game Selection Menu) is messed up still...I can't see the words and the color is all messed up when the menu is opened, during gameplay too.

It's more of a personal problem now I think....but it's not a problem with Lost Isle or the Lost Isle ZC build (just for everyone's info)
Thanks

About the whole mix-up with the Master Dome in the Canyon and the dude telling you its near Bhalstok. That's my fault. It was referring to something else, then Petoe changed things around (namely where the red mail was) and that string fell through the cracks between the two of us to be changed as to the location of that item. So apologies to that, I should have caught it. Just imagine him saying its 'near' Bhalstok, so at least it gives you a general location of where to look.

As for the wasteland maze, opposite of magnetic dispostion is south yes? All things magnetic have a disposition to point north, so go opposite that. Furthermore, walk forward until it is time. Yes, it'll indicate when you can stop by getting you out of the maze! So obviously that would be the last step to take. Get it now?

Ah thank you. I really didnt have a clue what magnetic disposition meant. And I should have known that when it is time I would have been out of the maze. (I'm not the brightest lamppost on the street unfortunately.)

school has gotten in the way of my gaming -.-

I've got the wand in level 2, and just now got the key (one where I had to cross an invisible bridge). Where is the lock...? Could someone give me a general area (ex Dark north side)

I'm stuck on Level 3 again. Can't figure out how to hit the crystal on 3rd floor- second room north west. I think that's the way that will lead me to the switch that lowers the blocks leading to floor 4. Any help would be appreciated.
