Thanks =D, and now it's time to choose again! Well first of all, I also made his nose shorter in both versions, so you can compare whether he looks better with a shorter or longer nose from the images above. But which hairstyle do you guys prefer for Cecil, the new style, or the current style? Either one works for me , but what do you guys think?

Stick with the shorter nose. Also, the new hairstyle doesn't fit with the rest (not that it's bad, it's just too detailed compared to the rest of him).

Also, GC is right. Try some new stuff too, maybe even take a break? Sometimes I ignore my artwork for several months, but when I come back something brilliant comes out on the page. Just speakin from my own experience, and maybe it's not for you.

Something I'd suggest is to either do the colouring in pen, or to do it on the computer in Photoshop or GIMP. As pencil crayon doesn't usually scan well. For a long time I used to draw stuff out on loose leaf in class, then scan it, open it in GIMP, take the lines out and then proceed to colour it.

Somewhat bloody, plus I think it stretches out of Pure's image limits.

Inverted Zombie Slayer: I like it, it looks great =D. It also reminds me of the mask you can get on Kid Chameleon to start launching axes at your opponents XD!

Link's Helpers: So true, they were pretty annoying. But what about Tael from Majora's Mask?

Numb: Actually, pretty sad. I kinda want to uncuff the guy, buuuuuuut, since he's dead, I'm guessing, there would be no point in that now.

Gravity Suit Samus: You drew her pretty well. Her suit is a total pain in the ass to raw, but you handled it extremely well.

I can't find anything wrong with them anatomically (except Link's Helpers, but that's supposed to be chibi, so there's nothing wrong with it). So you know, you're waaaay better at that than I am X[)!

As for me drawing Cecil alot, well, I dunno. I like doing it, but at the same time, I want to work on my games more. BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I don't feel like messing with a ton of sprites at the moment, because it's so time consuming. I guess me drawing Cecil is a way of procrastinating from it, but I guess I have to suck it up eventually, because the sprites won't draw and edit themselves xD!

OH, and about Cecil's new hair...I was also going to do something similar with his tail to. As for the rest of his body...well I really don't see a point, because my dogs have fuzzy heads and tails, but for some reason, their body manages to constantly look combed (unless they get wet in the rain). And we don't comb/brush them at ALL, lol.

Hey Koh, I posted on your DA account, but I think I can post here too.

I like Cecil's hair in that pose, it looks like it just "fits" and I think with the shorter nose it is like a reboot of a good thing. It just works.

Hm... I like the new hair myself, and like mentioned, the shorter nose looks much better. Koh looks pretty good, too, but I'm not too fond of how crazily spikey his sideburns are or his ponytail. I'd tone that down a little. Other than that, looking good.



One of my sort of characters known as Zoe in a Victorian-like costume. (These are so much fun to draw. XD) The pose was taken from a French manga drawing book I took out from the library. I tried to go with something a little different when I drew this. I'm actually rather proud of this one, as it's honestly the best thing I've drawn in a long while.

Once I scanned it, I cleaned it up a bit in Photoshop, mainly to get rid of some smudge marks on the picture that weren't supposed to be there as well as some other minor fixes. Then I goofed with the colours a bit. =P

Anyways, yeah. I'm very happy with how this came out, but the nose and hands bug me a fair bit looking on it now. Ah well, things to consider for next time. [/copypastafromda]

I love it =D! A lot of people seem to like Victorian Era things XD, but I think you handled it very well! I dunno if it's just me, but her fingers seem a tad to small, but it might just be my fail vision. Everything else looks flawless to me though.

A re-done version of him lounging. First attempt at a background! Guess what? My scanner ate the shading and some of the colors again -.-'. Seriously, it looks better on paper, but meh, it's close XD!

A full cast shot I did for my superhero story, Seiryoku. Not my best work, but considering I've never done a full cast shot before, and I was dreading doing this going into it, I think it turned out pretty good.

It really pained me to see that even Google could not find any fan art of this character whatsoever, so I took it upon myself to give her some spotlight.

Yarg, hate! No, not really.

Not great, but you probably see most of the flaws in it. The main point of interest for me is in the hand, though. It's actually done rather well. However, the problems with it are a) the ring finger should be rotated slightly to the right, and b) the thumb should be moved a bit to the left. PS- Left bat looks fat.
