Heh... The "motion control to 360" thing happened to me at school today. I was talking to a friend who suddenly decided that motion control isn't all bad when he read reviews on NATAL. Then he went on to say that SUper Mario Galaxy 2 will suck because of waggle. That's an eerily accurate chart.

I am one happy sonovagun.

A year ago I bough a $100 Professor-level tutorial and all-purpose guide to C++ Programming. I mean this thing's bigger than a freakin' dictionary. I haven't touched it since then; I bought it knowing I would be bored with everything one day and would want to give serious programming a whirl.

Such as today.

And now I am so glad I made such an investment. icon_w00t.gif I'm so psyched up about this programming stuff now after taking just one look in the pages. Mhm... tonight is gonna be EPIC!

C++ ? I loved it, you will too. Maybe one day we'll create a new zelda clone together.

I'm currently in France, where I'll be living for a few weeks while I work for a nearby company in Geneva.

The hotel has an interesting translation on a notice:

That's awesome Schwa! I read up on C++ a little, but I know only the very basics, and really only use it for basic scripts in ZC.

Koopa, that's not exactly comforting... But on a side note, how's France?

France is fine. It's nice and calm here - out in the green and all. The food's good too, but then you'd expect that in France.

It's a shame I didn't take a camera or I could show some photos of the scenery - I can see mountains from my window.

I can always see mountains from my window. Then again, I live in a mountain range. icon_razz.gif

That's aaawesome! I'm so jealous. There's not much natural here in Southeast New York. Not this close to where I live to Manhattan. The closest there is is a mountain of trash covered with grass. It sucks.

Ouch. I can't live anywhere without mountains. I start getting homesick when I'm away from them for more than three days. Although being near the ocean helps, since I live quite close to the ocean too.

Me too. I live like, 20 or so minutes by car from the Ocean. My Elementary school was touching the boardwalk. We used to go to the beach by literally rolling out the window and dropping onto the boardwalk. Heh, they did not like us doing that. X x.

I remember watching out the window, looking at the height of the waves. They were always best during winter. Very choppy.

Ya, the waves get so big in winter. Unfortunately, it's too cold to go in the water then. icon_frown.gif

You know, taking my liking of the mountains and oceans, the only two places I could live in the US are the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. And those two aren't similar at all...

New York State has plenty of scenic views and mountains. There are resorts up in the mountains that are really quite fancy and, well, scenic. I've been to a few of them. Grand, with amazing clean air. The Ocean is only a few hours drive southeast.

Mountains? I think I know a little bit about mountains.

This is the view I get while walking home from work everyday:

Wow Evile, that's amazing. I'm not that far into the mountains (actually, I'm right on the border of the range), so I don't see mountains quite that spectacular...
