Okay, I seem to be at what seems to be the final dungeon by now. At 10:11 playtime, I'm missing two heart pieces, and there are two empty inventory slots, one next to the Ex1 button and another next to the hookshot. Do I get these slots in the Dark Sanctuary? I already found the Purple Potions as well. One heart piece is next to the Monastery, but there is a lockblock there... where is the key to there?

 

And lastly, I'm curious about a room in Sideview Hills. At the area where you get the two halfs of the Boss Key, at the topmost room to the left, (the area filled with Purple Darknuts), there is a room with an opening that I could reach if the Roc's Feather could jump a bit higher... Is there a Heart Piece in there? If so, how can I reach whatever is in there if there is any treasure?

Useless Old Man Wisdom already covered some of this, so I'll cover the rest:

It's hard to say which other heart piece you're missing. Did you get all rewards from the prize-giving guy in Shaigye? There is also one in Flootown, with just a small visual hint that there's something different there, so it's one of the easier ones to miss.

 

The slot next to the Ex1 button was for the item trade sequence to get cured, once you've finished that sequence, there won't be anything else there. The active inventory slot you're missing will be filled in the last dungeon.

 

The map in Sideview Hills won't be of any use to you by now, but it does count towards completion percentage if you care about that.

I have the compass and the directions, but still cannot find my way through the Stray Woods. The compass isn't reacting even when I do have equipped and push B.

 

I read the part about North possibly not being North. So then I tried all the combinations to align north with another direction, but something always ends up being east which takes you out of the maze.

 

I tried following the directions multiple times... no dice. I tried killing the Moblins each time before heading off screen with each direction... no dice. I tried reversing the directions... no dice.

 

What am I missing!!!??

Keep the compass on the B button, take note of where it points out north to be on a regular screen, then as you move through the maze successfully based on the direction keep an eye on the compass, on certain screens it will point in a different direction, signifying that that direction is now north currently, then adjust your next movement step accordingly.

Can't get a dock in the bubble swamp to work. Is the dock on the island with the two dark knights and blue bubble above the island with all the red bubbles? Working docks in other areas are dark brown and these are not. I am using ZC2.55 v90.

I don't think the dock tiles within the swamp itself counts as docks. I tried messing around with them myself without any luck, regardless they are not needed to beat the quest.

There should be one in the forest that has an NPC, they are connected to that.

There ought to be four numbers. Imagine the three rooms being like paper sheets you put on top of one another and bring to a light bulb to see how the white tiles connect.

There are no docks to use in bubble swamp, those are just bridges.
