I spoke with the husband in the bar in Egberts but did not receive anything (didn't tell on him)hehe

Went to Milton and the Force Caves are not open, what am I missing here?

Did you talk to everyone in the bar there?  Someone is supposed to give you a key, which you then use in the forest.

The Force Caves in Milton requires something else!

Does the key show up in your inventory? I spoke to everyone in the bar and no key.

Are you referring to Marseila Forest?

Yes, that is level 1. Have you bombed the floor spots yet? If not look for outline of a arrow on the floor.

Found one on the (Don't open the Spoiler, if you want to search it for your own.^^)

Thank you, Artistic.

EDIT: I'm missing the dungeon map? Where is it? And how do I get to it?

After spending countless hours grinding up the 5000 rupee fee for the club ticket, my game crashed after talking to one of the NPCs inside (the guy in the top right corner of the room on the left of the entrance). I forgot to save prior, so i'm a good 4000 rupees short once more. Is there anything actually in there other than the fancy hat?

@renaultgamer: I do not see a crystal in the Rotting Plains??? Anyway, the HCP in the Withered Woods is obtained by pushing a rock in that area. The one near Halberd City's donkey travel is obtained by going through a tree hollow (it warps you). On the wall on Egbert's Keep is I think obtained by going through someone's house in that town. The white cape (from the graveyard) is the final ring. And there is a L4 sword, better than the Sandstorm sword, in dungeon L8.

@sparkster: That is the 1st dungeon indeed. Bombs are the key there, look for very suspicious cracks in the floor with arrows shaped cracks pointing at them. The dungeon map is also in that kind of spot. If I remember correctly there are in total 3 of those bombable cracks.

@norzan: I really wanted the player to explore the entire overworld after L1, so that's why it's such a long distance. It wasn't intended you find L3 so quickly, but it was intended to be much shorter of a travel than to L2. I just wanted different paces between dungeons.

@syrianballas: That sword is the actual L2 sword, but free. I put in the purchasable one in for those who couldn't find any swords. About the spin attack, it's the behaviour of ZC when the spin attack uses "magic". If I wanted to fix those issues, I'd need to script it.

@Artistic: thanks for the bugs! That sign is purely there for hookshot purposes, but I can make it say something perhaps. You have the right glove to push those rocks, but your current glove can only push once per screen!

@mister snooze: You need to read a sign in the Western Timberlands in order to "know" about the key existing!

@chocobothief12: That's much of a bummer! The Gentleman club has mainly an aesthetic reward, the hat. But 2 NPCs let you have some illegal subtances that make you dizzy and the screen wavy. I think that caused the crash, but when judasrising and I tested it, it worked fine, so I'm quite puzzled. The club is probably not worth you grinding this much again, unless you really liked that hat.

Thank you! I missed that, and it could have been a game stopper. Perhaps it should have been the Timberland key. I was looking in the wrong forest and had no idea where to go.

That's actually a good suggestion, thank you!

So I've uploaded an update for NTCC to PZC. It contains bugfixes, better bomb and heart drops from enemies and as Mister Snooze suggested a string telling you to go to the Western Timberland when getting the forest keeper key.

It needs approval by PZC staff first, but in the meantime you can download it too at http://www.twccgaming.com/zc/ntcc#info

I meant the rotting grove. Though I have completed the game already and gotten both endings. It was a fun experience, though what knocks it off a point for me is constantly getting lost. I'd rate this a 4 out of 5.

I haven't beaten it yet but if I had to rate it right now I'd give it a three maybe even a 2, too many things annoyed me in it but I'm gonna hold off till I finish. One thing I seriously hated was the invalidation of secrets, for a quest that encourages exploration it kinda discouraged me. But I'll hold off on a review. There were several cases of errors in logic which are also a huge turn-off for me, this includes the invalidation of secrets.

Edit: I only beat the first 3 levels so my opinion might improve, plus I got the update and see if it's any better

Yeah. The hookshot hitbox on those two torches is really finicky. Sometimes it goes first try, but sometimes it takes more than 10 tries for the hookshot to cling to it.
