So you're turning it into a newsletter that highlights upcoming dungeons and discusses layout philosophy?

That could be an interesting idea, but no it is still a monthly contest.
I've pretty much come to the realization that this contest might be dead, but hey, a guy can dream, right?

How many are you waiting on? I could rip apart an old demo for a dungeon or two if you want.

We have received our first entry for DDM4. ![]()
One small step for mankind. One giant step for this contest.

We've got two entries! You know what that means? It means I need to actually cut out a dungeon to submit so we can get started cause I said I had a dungeon ready like 3 months ago, but I'm all self-critical, yay ![]()
No but seriously, I'm hoping to get the contest started soon, as in the next few hours? That is of course, unless we get another entry that isn't mine, then I'll start it with those three. I'm actually going to open up ZC right now, and unleash my first full dungeon that I made in 2.10 just over 11 years ago when I re-discovered ZC. Is it bad? Not as bad as you'd think. Is it great? Not as great as you'd like. ![]()
Thanks again for your interest in this, seriously, it means a lot.
Next time, on Dragon Ball Z, we'll see if Anthus really CAN manage two contests at once! After all, it took like eight straight episodes of him powering up this thread alone! What will happen? Find out next time! ![]()

Would a only slightly changed dungeon from the original game be also OK? Or would that be too less of an effort. I think I want to try out a bit of stuff only to see what others might think for the next dotm, or ddm now.
As long as you made it, it is fine.

For those of you who did not see this post, I'm sad to announce that this contest has come to an end. Not just this month, but as a whole. I will not be working on this anymore, nor accepting submissions for any future Dungeon of the Month contests*.
Thank you all for your support and interest over the months, and making this contest a fun little distraction. This contest had a good run, but I think it has come and gone, unfortunately.
Saffith was also the winner of DDM 4, and you should check out his awesome MegaMan 2 entry if you can! First post has been updated, and there are now a whopping four months archived.
*If there, for some reason, is outcry at this being done, and people did have stuff to submit, I might be open to it, but as of now, I don't want to keep bumping it, and getting the word out is hard to do.
tl;dr version, if enough people care, I'll bring it back
