Ah I was wondering about that before taking a break from the quest, thanks for explaining it Russ.

Started to play the game yesterday and it's been pretty good so far. Still, this not an actual complaint but the third dungeon was way easier than the second dungeon.

Also, what's the music that plays on the overowrld at night?

By the third dungeon, I assume you mean the Ice Caverns. It's easier because, strictly speaking, it's an optional dungeon. If you are on the road for the worst ending, you can bypass it altogether. The night overworld theme is a custom midi called Prelude for an Open Sea, by a guy named Jormugand. A friend of mine, Alestance, showed it to me.

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it so far!

And now i'm stuck in the Sky Tower. Got the key from that rather annoying platform section with the magnet. But now i don't know where to go to. Checked every place i could go and i can't do those puzzles with the diamond things because i don't have the dungeon item.

There's at least one more key you can get now, which will allow you to progress on the second floor. From the start, go left, up, left, up until you can't anymore, then left again. You can grab a key in that room. The stairway to the second floor is, from the start, left, up, left, up, right. I can give more detailed help if you're still stuck.

I just facepalmed so hard, I completely forgot you can actually go up by using the top left tornado in the screen that is left to the screen where you get the compass. Thanks a bunch for the help.

No problem! It's a pretty common mistake, actually. People are so used, because of items like the hookshot, to moving from where they are to where the target is that they forget they can stop pulling themselves in half way through.

And i'm still stuck in the Sky Tower. There's this door in this room with two Bomb Darknuts and three yellow Wizzrobes that i don't know how to open. Also, can't seem to find which i think is the last small key. Need to open a door in a roow with two blue darknuts.

... well, you just found a bug. I screwed up and that door apparently only opens at night, not during the day. I wonder how nobody's discovered that before... changing it to night should fix things. Sorry for the inconvenience. The last key is in the room just past there.

Yeah, it opened at night. Also, where's Cloudtop Sanctum? Is it after Dracus's Stronghold or is it before? Some people in this thread said that all three ruin pieces are needed to get the hidden item in Sky Tower and i want to get the best ending.

The cloudtop sanctum is in the Sunlight Heavens, at the bottom right screen of the daytime portion (essentially, two screens left of the ocarina warp point). Did you meet up with Rose yet? If not, you'll want to head to the top right screen of the of the Starlit Heavens first.

Just beat the game and it was very enjoyable. Also, how do you open the door in the screen to the right of Dracus's boss battle screen? Last, what's the purpose of the password you get after beating the game?

The door to the right of Dracus's screen doesn't open. I wanted to imply it was a living area, with a bed and whatnot, but I didn't want to make what would ultimately feel like a pointless screen. As for the password, it allows you to open the quest in the quest editor, in case you wanted to see how something was done or snag one of the scripts (just please don't take the boss ones!).

Anyways, congrats on beating the game! I'm glad you liked it!

I'm in a room in the Magma dungeon where I need to use the magnet to drown a darknut to reach the top part of the level.  If I were to drown him in the right spot I can bridge the gap.  The problem is I can't find any way to soak him anywhere but in the middle (directly across from the steam) which means there's still a one-square gap of lava I can't cross.  I hope I'm explaining this right and you know the room I mean.  What am I missing?

I'm a bit confused about which room you're describing. Is this, from the start, up, left, up? If so, you should be able to just barely pull the darknut forward so that he falls into the lava right next to the upper platform, then pull yourself over to him. Sorry if I'm not understanding exactly which room this is.
