I am stuck in level 7, where oh where are the boots?  I am walking in circles.  Great quest, loving it.

Go to this room:

Go to the left until you reach this room, and bomb the top wall:

Then, from the room above that one, keep going right until you come out here:

Get the key from the chest, then enter that same room from the south. It's the screen right above the first picture. Open the locked door, and the boots are in the room above. So you are supposed to walk around in a circle.

Ok- first off- fantastic quest!  Very engaging!  I feel like this a perfect compliment to the other Oracle games.  You put a lot of work into this and it paid off!

 

Now the cry for help:  I can't progress through the Shadeshrine without the rod upgrade, obviously but I have no idea where to look for it.  Help?

The rod upgrade can be found at the top of the Shine area. Bomb the upper wall in this room:

I was actually unable to even find that room until I realized that certain "distances" are not as hard to overcome as I thought.  I guess I just need to make that logical "jump".  Thanks for the help.

This thread's mostly just been used for people who need help with this quest, but most people on this site who would play this quest already have, so the thread's pretty dead right now.

If you need help, I'm the quest maker and I still check this thread at least a few times a week.

This room is one of those things I would do differently if I made this quest again. You can use the lens of truth to see a bridge across the lava, which you have to walk on.

Just for your information Monopoly, in the cave where you pick up the rope if you f6 cont it caused you to start the game at the very beginning.

Oh, that's unfortunate. Did it reset your gear and heart containers, or did you just spawn in the wrong spot when you started again?

If you lost your stuff, you can use the cheat code "Praise Helix" to get it back again.

It takes you to the first screen where you can walk up 2 screens and talk to the couple and she says hee hee (something I don't remember) and then it freezes, fortunately I had saved a game just before so I really didn't lose much, thanks.  I just got my new arrow that kills Ganon.
