maravig, if you could take a picture of the hole you have to get over, we could see where you're having issues. It's very likely though that the hole in particular is actually just a way to get to the upper floor, which isn't the goal at the moment. It's the exploration of the rest of the floor. You most assuredly will not require the hookshot to get the Link Emblem to get into the Sky Dungeon where the Hookshot is.

If you walk into that house, pass the door to the swamp palace and ice palace you'll come to the door (Sky Palace) surrounded by a hole/trench with two statues on the side with the door and two statues on the other side.  I tried to get a picture, but failed.

Also, that's for after beating the third level. That's not where you get the Link icon. Go back to the Tower of Shadows, north of the village, and keep going up. All Link icons are there.

Ah, I know where you are. That whole house region is more of a "minigame" to defeat enemies from that dungeon for a Heart Container. That's all. That "house" is entirely optional.

I have 11/12 of the cave keys.

 

I believe the key I am missing is the one from Tasa village.  Not sure how to solve the puzzle involving the green/purple tiles.  I end up with two tiles the wrong color.

im stuck on 11/12 keys to and does having the magical boomerrang in the dark fire palace a bad idea since thats the 2nd to last key i need

aprazma and moxxie have 11 keys, but you already have them all TS. They are for the (optional) key cave at the mountain.

The one that's probably most difficult to find is the one at the graveyard under the lonely grave. In any case, there is exactly 1 cave key in every normal cave.

Whoops, I typo'd, I meant 11, not 12, fixed that. I think I got the one in the lone grave, but I can check again later.

Oh. I just now got that HCP. Exit Oasis Town, and immediately start moving right the moment you arrive back in the desert.

You should start going through some winding cacti paths, which will quickly take you back through Oasis town and then back into the desert again, where you'll arrive face to face with the HCP. I thought that would be trickier to get.

Also, there is a lighter green cactus in the upper left screen of the desert that I missed the first time. Mess around with it for a nice prize.
