I think I am gonna drop out of the contest, I won't be able to finish this quest for reasons that that I have not made enough of the game to make a full game out of it. I will try to complete MarioNinja.qst though, Just not in the contest.

When's the deadline again, March 8th or 9th or something like that? If so, I should be able to get something put together by then.  Haven't worked on this in the past couple of days, but if I can get back to my previous rate of getting stuff done it should be possible to at least get a not-too-incomplete demo finished in time.

Deadline is March 9th. Also says so on the front page

 

Anyway, I'm about 57% done with my submission. I'm getting close to Chapter 4/5 meaning I'll most likely get this done quite soon.

Yeah, the end of March 9th is the deadline. I'll take timezones into account when I officially announce that submissions are closed, so wherever you are in the world, as long as you submit before the 10th you're good.

I'm doing well, I think. Got all of the quest planned and all dungeons planned on paper. Level 1 is finished and most of the overworld too. 2, 3 and 4 should be a breeze, I hope.

 

Pure is a horrible tileset to use though.

Hit the 80% mark. I'm basically almost done.

 

All I got left is Chapter 5, which is the scene in the court and when a trial happens.

 

And then after that is the end, case closed.

OBJECTION! I have conclusive proof that without a shadow of a doubt that this case is NOT closed. My client was at level 8 getting the Magic Key and Wand at the time this crime occurred. He could not have possibly been at the scene of the crime as he had picked up the Wand at that exact same time. Therefore, your honor, my client is innocent.

 

Just curious, how are the others doing in this contest? I just got caught up to page 6 on the status reports.

Welp, I'm finally come to the conclusion that I'm a lazy ass. Withdrawing, due to lack of time, but chances are, I'll still make this quest.

Just a reminder that the deadline is steadily approaching (end of March 9).

 

If there's anybody who is still in but somehow hasn't started, remember the regular 2 week contest featured quests that were made in a matter of a few days (or in at least one case a few hours), so don't think it's too late to get to it either.
