That was pretty much the worst experience of my life.

Nothing but Luigi is a lie. But dying was definitely a waste of my time. ![]()

I'd just use the original NES Zelda 1. A swordless run would be interesting, but I don't think everyone has the patience for that.. I'd be all for just all hearts + equipment, though.

It would be most interesting to see a game being raced that isn't too linear. Z1 would certainly be a candidate. Heck, the 2nd quest too. Plenty of other good choices as well, such as maybe a megaman game. I find it interesting, knowing that not everybody is going to approach it in the same order. It's best to stick to games with simpler graphics, such as NES games, since multiple streams at once can be very taxing on one's connection, assuming that graphics detail matters.

Okay, stupid question. Could we maybe race an edited 1st quest in ZC that uses the rule that speeds up screen scrolling? The slow screen scrolling on the NES version drives me absolutely bonkers.
I'd be up for that if you'd like.
I personally hate all that too.

From what I've read, Z1 seems like a boss idea (but megaman 3 tickles my fancy)
I'm up for either. I've beaten both several times but I wouldn't say I'm an expert at them.

Theoretically it shouldn't matter because the streaming software is just getting the video off the framebuffer, which doesn't care if it looks like an NES game or a PS4 game. The connection speed will be the same given the same resolution. The only issue comes from being able to run the game and the streamer at the same time. If your computer isn't powerful enough, it won't be able to. Emulators are very taxing, so just because you can stream a modern PC game doesn't necessarily mean you'll be able to stream an N64 or SNES game.
So I R NOOB. Would anyone like to help me set up Skype and see if I can get this the streaming to work?
