No offense to the people living in the snow storms and stuff, because that is terrible, but us in California are in a drought. My parents are limiting me to two minute showers, and were not allowed to wash our hands from sinks. We have to use water bottles to wash our hands and drink out of. It's annoying no one is recognizing this other than the people in it,

Nice. I might be getting about three feet on Sunday, if my luck holds. If everyone else's luck holds, though, we'll be getting three fewer feet that Sunday.
I'm so divided.
EDIT: Three feet of snow, I mean.
Not three feet. Feet for walking. We don't get those from the sky here. Maybe where you are, but not here. Not here.
That's a lot of snow. Do you live far up in the north?
And no one else wants it to snow three feet! How could they? xD

Actually I do know about the drought. It is in the news, and I was kind of frightened by it. It must be annoying to have to take such short showers. I wish that heavy rain (or snow) comes your way. ![]()

I felt the same way, though on the other side of the coin, when I was fixing up after hurricane Sandy. All I heard for months was about the hurricane, yet there are so many hundreds of other disasters going on around the world that absolutely decimated their victims. Sometimes literally. So what was so special about Sandy that it was publicized so much on the media from other areas of the world?

I believe it was because the hurricane swerved into the east coast rather than swerving away from it. Apparently, a hurricane hitting New York like Sandy has a very small chance of happening, so I assume that that made it particularly unusual. Also, apparently what made it swerve like that it interacted with a winter storm coming off of the Rockies.

I will be glad when winter is over... Man really I do my father has to work out in this weather way more then he should, just the other day he spent about the whole day repairing water lines do to the pipe freezing and busting... And damn I had to work today in the rain pushing buggies... I've been cold today for sure.
Thank god I don't have to do that often other wise I would be frozen to death.

That seems tough. When it gets really cold where I live, we always leave a sink trickling with water so that the water has less chance of freezing and causing pipes to explode.

So, I noticed we seem to have lack of snow this year. It hasn't snowed at ALL throughout this winter so far.
But it has been raining a lot more frequently than normal.

A mighty, mighty, mighty windstorm of Zamboey Winds blows and sounds like a hurricane outside my house. I knew from day one of this year's February that this month would be sadistic. I no longer laugh at the words of husky394xp, but rather tremble at them.

You're telling me! We have a NASTY ice storm up in Pennsylvania right now. Trees are down all over and a lot of central Pennsylvania has no power. This winter is literally the icy equivalent of Hell.

Go New England!!
It should be raining 24/7.
There's a reason why "England" is in the name.

Here we're used to a decent amount of snow and cold but this year's been odd about it. Not much snow and a lot colder than usual.
