Man me and my ex brother in law played some of PM today in VS with turbo mode on I picked Lucario and he picked Roy... Damn it was a intense battle. O_O

We were exchanging blows for awhile and then out of no where he said "I'm done with this fight" and started wailing the crap out me and he juggled me in the air for awhile and then he hit with a final combo and sent me off screen to my doom, and that was my last life too.

 

Project M makes for some awesome 2 player action, man it seems I might need to train a bit more before I take on my Brother in law again. <_<

It does seem that the most intense battles occur when there is no defending or dodging or strategy, but just mindless facing of your opponent and pressing A and B a lot.

It's terrifying that such a thing can be so deadly, stunning, and effective.

Recorded this today. I tested this Turbo Mode combo on human opponents as well and it works.


It's just literally Down throw->DI read->Jump->Side B->Up B->Side B->Up B->Side B. Pretty sweet looking though when in the middle of an intense turbo match.

Yeah, I don't think a cease and desist will be coming for this for a long time. Nintendo has a reputation for leaving fan projects alone. Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii is an example.

Some of the changes, like Ganondorf's new float, I knew about months ago but seeing it in action is still awesome. I wonder how it will change his metagame?

Because I think SilentDoom accidentaly leaked it in his AMA a few weeks ago.

I've heard that he is getting a new attack that is magic-based from a dev. He never stated whether it was a smash, tilt, special, or anything. He wasn't very clear on it, but that is what I've heard. Now that might have changed, so if it doesn't happen, then that just means somewhere along development, they deemed it problematic in debugging and such. So it's more of "will it make it into the final release of 3.5" sort of thing. There is also going to be a new character for Project M 4.0, but I can't reveal who for the sake of my own conscience and for the sake of creating hype. And I also don't mind teasing.
