I actually had a bad realization regarding potential Namco guest stars. Namco owns Pac-Man. We'll probably end up with him rather than someone far more interesting. ![]()
I suppose it's not so bad a thing since Pac-Man is a "classic" character, I'd just also like to see someone like from Soulcalibur or Tales be involved, since they'd arguably be much more interesting. I could see the argument for a Soulcalibur character not fitting though, so I'd be okay with Tales.

.
Well hey, ya know who else Namco owns?.
... I can dream, can't I? At the very least, he'd be a good assist trophy.

Well, I expect to see everybody from Brawl return (maybe except for Snake and Sonic, who are 3rd party) unless they get suitable replacements (like Roy -> Ike and Mewtwo -> Lucario) plus the new characters they confirmed and more. I wouldn't be suprised if somebody from Dragon Quest or even Soul Calibur appear.
And yeah, no paid character DLC. Stages maybe, but I don't want to see characters be obtained through DLC.
I completely agree with this.

Why don't I find myself excited about this game? Maybe I will for the chance to battle you guys.
But will their online service be as bad as the Wii's? According to it, it's the online issue that discourages EA from further support with the Wii U.
Wait a second, it's not being made by.... That company that makes Kirby games (forgets what they are called). So this will be an entirely different kind of Smash Bros.
So apparently this game is being made by the same company responsible for other fighting titles such as Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Dragon Ball Z Budikai.... Interesting.
Will this game take elements that's already popular in these existing fighting games? Or will they stick it to the existing Kirbi style fighting that Smash Bros always was?
Update: Okay, it turns out that Sora, the company that's working on producing this game with NB is runned by the guy who created Kirbi and Smash Bros, so it's essentially going to be the same Smash Bros. but I'm curious to know NB's involvement in this title.
If you've watched even *one* gameplay trailer of it, you know that it's pretty much Smash Bros. and nothing else. Hell, if you watched the first trailer. This would be like expecting Oracle of Seasons and Ages to be a lot like Mega Man just because the games were made by Capcom.

The reason that the fact that the company that made Tekken and such is a good thing is because they will actually make the game balanced for once which is helpful for online play.

Which, actually, does bring up a good point. The Oracle games were still Zelda games, yet there were definitely moments where you could tell Capcom made them. So it wouldn't surprise me if Smash Bros 4 was like that. Still Smash Bros, yet with traces of Namco's handiwork throughout.

Wouldn't be a bad thing. It would give Smash Bros. 4 a unique touch to it, and Namco's fighters are usually so solid and fluid that it would still be an enjoyable experience. Obviously I don't want Smash Bros. going the route of being another clone of every fighter out there, but Namco touches are still welcome.

I hope Namco gives balance to each & every character. >_<

Well, previously, Sakurai did all the character balancing himself. I think that for 4 though, they've already come out and said that Namco's gonna be helping with the balancing.
