Okay Peteo, sorry for this.
This is actually my all time favourite quest! I have a question: what was the reason that LI only used the basic ZC items?? There was no hookshot, no hammer, etc. Maybe the quest would have been even better with some more items, what do both of you think about?

I completely agree with you. I told Wolfie "why can't we have more than Zelda 1 items" and she said "NO!".
At first I was disappointed with her decision to restrict us to the basic items only, but now that I look back, I think we proved everyone you can do amazing quests with just the Zelda 1 items. So in a way I'm happy she restricted us in that way. And now that I have no restrictions for Lost Isle 2, the quest will be so amazing ahahahaa.

The reason for that decision was two fold:
1) A personal reason to finally make a quest that was not item heavy and focused on a central set of specific items to better focus the gameplay and overall subscreen.
2) To make greater use of items that would have normally been 'one and done' in many dungeons in Zelda games nowadays. The Raft is a PRIME example, it was only used twice in the original Zelda...what a waste of a item slot. Since we didn't want Flippers in this quest, but wanted some water travel of 'A' sort, the Raft fit the bill.

Ah I understand. There were alot of uses for the raft in LI as well your other items, unlike in some other Zelda games. It's just the same with some of the dungeon items in Twilight Princess, as well as the raft in Z1.

Now that I think about it, this reminds me of Skyward Sword, wich has not many items too, but a better focus for each item on the whole gameplay.

Can't seem to find the HCP in Ebenar Temple, anybody have any idea where to find it?

There's a Sheikah stone in one of the lower floors of the level. Come back with the Ocarina to remove the stone and you can get the HCP.
