Bugger. The Shardstorm links are currently down, and there are no links in the first post. Anyone happen to have a link to the latest public version? Haven't touched ZC in months...

Looks like they've pulled support of RC 2.5. icon_razz.gif I would suggest RC2 anyway. It's really stable and is on all operating systems. RC2 topic

Gleeok's the only one who knows what the problem with it was. I figure we're only four two bugs away from RC3, though, so that should be ready as soon as _L_ shows up to compile it.

Wait, I just transitioned my quest up to RC2.5. I can still just transition it up again to RC3 when it comes out, right? I did way too much work to try to redo it back in RC2.

There were a lot of issues with the last windows RC2 update and RC3 should be done in a few days or so, so there is little point in keeping it around. It was basically released so that some of those issues could be addressed and tested, while the next 2.5 candidate could be as bug-free as possible.

In other words, it was known to likely have problems and needed to be tested by the laboratory rats community. icon_razz.gif
Good news is that everything is fixed now.

@Saffiith: What's the policy of a 2.5 release after the next candidate? I suggest a two-week paradigm - where if at any point no reasonable breaking bug is found within a span of two-weeks, ZC 2.5 is packaged and released.

When you hold up and left with diagonal walking on (Without it on? Not sure), he won't swing his sword, etc.

That sort of thing's come up a lot, and, ten times out of ten, it's been a keyboard issue. Certain key combinations fail to register, depending on the keyboard. Remap your keys, and it'll probably work.

Unfortunately, I think it's a problem well (at least Dell) laptops. I've had it on two Dell laptops, and I think Nick has had the same problem on a Dell laptop. icon_unsettled.gif For some reason Up+Left+B works, but not Up+Left+A.

Yeah, sounds good to me.

I edit my quest in RC2-2.5 because the editor doesn't crash. I then play it in regular RC2. The file still works in regular RC2 even after you've saved it in RC2 2.5

Regular RC2 Zquest crashes here and there, RC2-2.5 has yet to crash.

Edit: There is a bug in RC2-2.5 which causes the Lens of truth to flash very quickly. Which is why I edited my quest in RC2-2.5, but play it in regular RC2.

Haven't seen that one. Could you provide a demo quest, or at least get a video?

In case you missed this - since no one commented on it:

The Selected Item Name element on the subscreen only shows what's equipped to B. That means if you have Select A button item enabled, you have to equip an item to B to find out what it is called. It would be great if it always told you what was under the selector instead.
