You'll need to look for an open portal on the NW portion of the map and find the candle in the past. Then you can use West Shrine to access the present again. Good luck!

Lvl 5...by looking at previous post I was able to find the entrance to lvl 5 via the West Shrine but I can't cross the water to go to the next door. Also I can't kill the the darknut. I'm I missing something here?

-Level 5 -

This is probably the trickiest dungeon to find, so I'll give some hints.

-The first entrance has to do with diving around an island. If you look near the NE part of the overworld (near where you enter level 2), you find a portal to the past. The house there in the past tells you exactly where to dive.

-The second enterance is in the West Shrine

-The third entrance is "atop the highest mountain"

In the 1st and 2nd entrances, you should have a new weapon and (I think a key) before you continue to the next one. (Hopefully I'm not spoiling too much). Overall, the dungeon is really clever I think. Take note of stuff like odd colored tiles and torches. Meet in the middle where they would meet if they would cross, and dive and look for keys. That's the best hint I can give. Eyes also don't like a certain weapon

To get to the first entrance of the dungeon, also make sure you find the raft. You can find it on Glyco Mountain.

Wow everyone is moving fast and I'm just trudging along. Oh well. I finally was able to play tonight and got that final key. I'm now walking in circles pushing rocks to find the Boss key to level 2 but none of them are moving. What am I missing? Besides the Boss key. Sorry I just had to say it.LOL

Maybe I missed something inside that I should have used the boomerang?

The boss key is on B1F, but in a part separate from the main entrance.
Just head outside to the canyon and look for this rock, and push it with your power bracelet.

Well now I know what I've been missing

The power bracelet!!! No wonder that rock wouldn't move. LOL Back into the dungeon, right? I finally did get the power glove so all that left to do is go and move all the purple blocks and then the boss. I saving that for another day though as i can't hold the joystick anymore.

Out of curiousity ( not that I mind all those burn marks and horrid scars from those insidious fireballs) , when might I get a shield??

It's in Level 4, and can be bought in a new town you can get to after Level 4 as well

you won't believe it - once you get the shield,,, like like start to show up - they got mine
need to get another shield -- I hate like like!

You can buy another shield on Tepidus Isle

You can get there by getting the raft on Glyco Mountain and sailing south out of Glyco Village.

I've just finished a certain quest and now I want to begin with yours. It seems very interesting. I like that gameboy-advance-style quests very much now I'm very curious :-)

One question: Why didn't you upload your quest into the QDB?

I submitted it to the QDB a few days ago (atleast I think I did everything correctly

) so I imagine it'll be on there in a few days.

I got the power bracelet and the boss of level 2. I was wondering about the northern most room in B3. It's the room where when you move the purple blocks a statue appears looking up. I tried bombing but nothing happens. I hear people talking about a ladder but I haven't found it nor the graveyard. ( So what else is new...LOL) What should I be doing next? I tried using Super Bombs in a few places but none of them have worked. Thank God for the restart button.
