okay...so i dunno if anyone is still reading this post...but if they are i'm stuck in level 2. im in a room in the upper right of the map with a bunch of boomerang switches and a few red vires. i assume this is the way to one of the items for the level? any help would be appreciated.

lol...nevermind. i figured it out. duh theyre just switches...not boomerang . yay sword!

I'm in level 7. i have the map, compass bow and arrow. i'm stuck in a room with 4 green wizzrobes and a ton of switches. any ideas how to activate them? ive tried all of the items in my inventory...maybe i missed something. help?

My memory is hazy but from your description I'm guessing you're in a room with reflectors that you might need to move around to enable a constant stream of reflected magic, and that you need to get in a position to get the wizzrobes to shoot at you without your being hit to start the reflected magic that will kill ultimately them. It would help a lot if you could post a pic.

im in the room with the x. its 4 green wizards that spawn bats and a bunch or pyramid-esque switches.
hopefully that helps a little. i dont know why it wont take a pic. f12 didnt work nor did alt-s.

Oh, lord, the pain you must've gone through to make that map! Here's how to make a pic, and let me know if you have any problems.

1. Get a free Photobucket account
2. Press F12 to make a pic in your game folder
3. Go to Photobucket, click the upload button, select the pic to upload
4. When uploaded, click Save and Get Links; right click the pic, click Properties to see the Direct Link URL; highlight it, right click, and copy it
5. Type the text of your post
6. To insert the pic in your post, click the Insert Image icon at top and paste the URL into the window that opens; click OK
7. Click the Preview Message button below to see if it worked (look toward the top of the screen to see the pic to be displayed); if so, click Add Reply; if not, make sure you highlighted and copied the entire URL correctly

i cant get it to take a screenshot at all. ive tried toying with the administrator settings on my laptop but its just something about the F keys on it. i run into the same problem in pc games the F keys dont do what theyre supposed to because theyre assigned to volume etc as well.
but besides that even in game when i try alt-s to take a screen it doesnt save or even give me the option to.
i might have to use bombs...but i use them to kill the bat-wizards and eliminate the spawned bats; so by the time i have the wizards killed im out of bombs.
its a bummer. this has been a good quest....very difficult, but good. i think im just stuck.

Are you sure that pressing F12 isn't saving a file in the game folder with a name like zelda.001? This would be the kind of file to upload to Photobucket. There won't be a screenshot saved to memory that you can just paste into anything.

yeah im sure its not saving. i run ZC windowed because otherwise i get these graphical glitches on my windows 7.
and i had my ZC folder open while playing and no new files appeared when i tried to take the snapshot.
pretty lame. i've had a bunch of problems with windows 7 running games though.
almost makes me wish i owned a mac lol.

Dont kill the bats hit one switch with the wand. The quest isnt passworded if you need to cheat and look at zquest.

oh you are a tricksy one sir. had to use the bats to make the wand blast hit the switch. very clever indeed! the darknut shield in front of ghoma proved a bit difficult. very good! onward to level 8!

I'm stuck in level 4A. i get to this room with a few of the blue lionels and if i go down theres a staircase that clips me into a wall and if i go right the doorway turns into an underground map and i get clipped into the wall. Then if i continue or try to restart it starts me in the underground portion of level 4 and i have to use another superbomb to get back to 4a. Rupee grinding is pretty tedious when i need 200 for a bomb lol.
help please?

This must be a mistake where do you mean before getting the boss key or magic boomerang.

The game starts to get buggy about this point i need to test it more and there isn't a Gannon battle at the end. I was going to do more custom bosses and Gannon it didn't seem worth putting the original. I was also going to do hearts to 3 lines.

If i get a list of things to do i can do them for next update.
