I personally take no problems with extra pokemon. You don't
need to catch them all! For this game, I'm not gonna look any more at it (or, at least, try not to look at it) so the whole experience will be new and, hopefully, fresh (they really need to scrap the whole Team Rocket idea). But even storyline aside, I really enjoyed just travelling around Kanto and Johto in the last pokemon games released. The music was awesome, and the whole world seemed new. It was fun finding new caves and exploring my way out of them, and it didn't really bother me using a Heracross (which I've never used before SS) or Bellossom (one of my faves since Crystal).
And, if you've seen the pics, the 5th gen will take the 3D aspect used in SS (and somewhat in Platinum) and run with it, with some normal places even being seen almost as if the camera was a few feet off the ground (looking towards the player). It also seems to be in a more... futuristic place with [possible spoilers]
cars, large bridges, and soaring skyscrapers.[/spoilers]. And, according to Serebii.net, BW is supposed to bring about a "revolution of Pokemon." Now, I dunno if that statement was taken from CoroCoro directly or not, but, if you ask me, a true revolution hasn't taken place since generation 2 (with the addition of daycares, day/night cycles, running pokemon, shinies (that were actually shiny), IVs, two entirely new types, two regions, large cities, and pokemon animations), so... I'm getting kinda excited myself. I'm hoping for Golden Sun style battle animations (judging from the pics), and stuff like that. I'm also hoping for real-time action sequences where you might have to chase a pokemon or something.
