I just added the due date and the contestants who have confirmed that they're still in this. So if you're still in this, it's important that you let me know here so I can re-add you to the list.

I'm too lazy to add everything else I posted. icon_xd.gif Seriously, though, I don't think it needs to be re-said, since it was just rules pertaining to the beginning of the contest.

Three weeks? Dang, that actually messes me up. The way the quest is set up, there's no way I can fit another week's worth of content into it. It was made to hold only two week's worth of work, so Sheik will easily have the upper hand now. Can't you just extend the deadline a day or two?

Russ, you could use that third week for beta-testing and polishing the quest out. For example.

Still, a whole week of beta testing vs. a week of real work. Which do you think would make a better game?

Honestly? The first option. The game mustn't be big, nor have a lot of stuff in it. What counts is the gameplay-experience (in my eyes) and the better the game's mechanics work and the less bugs it has, the more it is to play. You could use that week to check every screen again wether you think it's finished like that or not, you could add in one or another custom-miniboss, you could add a hidden extra-dungeon for a hiden boomerang upgrad (for example), you could add nice little scripts (maybe stuff like cliffjumping for shortcuts and similar) - whatever. I do believe, that a game isn't finished when it's final boss and cutscene are done, but when the betatesting and final touches are done.

On a side-note: I doubt that EoA will be finished within this third week even. Will try, though.

Mm, as much as I'd like for us to be finished in the three weeks our quest is turning out to be quite good and we'd rather it to be completed properly as a real quest rather than rushed in a time limit. I'm putting aside as much time as I can for it though.

Well Sheik, you do have a point. I guess I'll use the extra week to implement extras like that.

So you're quest won't even be finished with the extra week? Yikes. Well, I guess that means less competition for me. Unless everybody else drops out again, which means no competition for me. icon_razz.gif

Sounds like I'm a legend here. I don't know what I did to deserve that. My quest is gonna be pretty plain. icon_razz.gif

I have decided that I SHALL enter...starting now.

EDIT: So I have 10 days, but I'll be busy with school and hanging out with people...so it's more like 4 days. I'LL STILL DO IT.

If there's another week, could I be put in as a maybe? icon_razz.gif
I'm not sure if I could get done or not. If it HAD to be a straight yes or no, it would still be a no however.
