I'm attaching graphics to Kirby currently, but I'm running into a few animation issues.
My animations don't always start at the beginning, rather they're linked to the global animation thingy, which means that my 'breathing in to start flying' animation sometimes starts halfway through, which looks awful.
The only way I can think to rectify it is to re-make it, setting up the animation via the script, which I'd rather not do, but it looks like I might have to *sigh*
I might send you a version to have a go with in a minute, I need feedback otherwise I loose my drive to carry on going.
I'm feeling a bit apathetic at the moment though, I'm tired and stuff >_<
Oh wells.
EDIT: Oh no I won't cause you're on holiday >_<

I'm not sad really, I was just feeling a bit grumpy and like I didn't really wanna do anything earlier.
I'm fine now, I'd just spent too long staring at the screen I think.
Life's busy at the moment, it wears me out.
Anyway, I'll touch up some of the things and get it sent to you sometime soonish.
Might try to finish off flying, and sort out a few graphical errors with the jump first.
EDIT:
Ooh well, I've got me graphics sorted out all nice.
I did have to script the animations, but you can't have the pie and eat it =P
So now we have fly, jump and slide all scripted up and working nicely, with animations and everything ^_^
There's no little stars when Kirby hits the floor after jumping, and he doesn't bounce off the floor like he does in the original game, but those are little touch-ups for later.
Well, the bouncing off the floor is more important, but either way I'm not doing it right now.
I'm moving on to sorting out the sucking script properly now, because at the moment you just suck an enemy in at a certain radius to Kirby, which means you suck in enemies behind Kirby too.
That's not going to be a very fun script to write =P
But I'll see what I can do =)

Hey guys! Well, here I am in Canada, eh! (just a little joke...
Aragh! I'm going to have to do something drastic for insulting my country!!! Lol. j/k.
I've gotten a bit further in the set, but not by much. I have more time, now, so I'll be able to work on it more.

I also need to get some progress screens up, so everyone doesn't get worried.

I need to sort out the spitting out animation and the swallowing animation, and the little pixels that fly over to Kirby's mouth when he's inhaling, and then I'll send it over to you.
That should be a reasonably significant state to show you it in I think.
Oh, I'm not doing that right now though cause its 12:34 AM and I'm sleepy =P
I've got some spare time tomorrow though, so I should be able to send it then.
EDIT: Wow...
Those little dots are horrendous to script properly...
That's all one drawtile function...
EDIT: OK, I've got that lot all sorted out and I'm sending off to AgentLym.
Wonder what I should do next? =S
The only enemies that actually work are fire enemies, which means all of the enemies are basically gonna have to be scripted...
Which doesn't really sound all that fun to be honest =P
If anyone else wants to write a few enemy scripts, that'd be awesome.
They'd have to work so that you have a fire enemy, and manipulate everything it does via the script.
So lots of random number generation and things.
I think the subscreen might be quite important to do next.
I mean, I'm almost at the stage of inputting powers, but the subscreen is quite important really.
Oh, and then there's ladders and floors you can drop through and water and....
*sigh*

I think I'll PM Gleeok and maybe Beefster for some help... I don't recall any other amazing scripters around here...
Also, blaman, hows work been going? I need to see so I can post some progress shots. Also, Naldrag, how's your tileset coming?
@ Joe123
Also, I forgot to mention in the PM, is it possible to choose your Kirby (of course if it's in the right sequence... that'll be a lot of combos...)? Like, say you wanted to play as a white-black Kirby... could you just go to the script and change one number (the combo number of the first Kirby, for example) and change Kirby's sprites completely? Like, at the beginning of the game, you could chose to use GB style or NES style? Or maybe you could just change his c-set? Like, at the beginning of the game, instead of chosing a totally different Kirby, just chose a different c-set? I hope that'll be possible...
Just wondering. Not totally necessary.

I accidentaly posted my PM to AgentLym here >_<
I'll use this moment of stupidity as an oppurtinity to announce the fact that we now have the passive subscreen sort of working.
I've scripted the health bars, so now Kirby has 6 health, and he dies when it runs out.
I also have the little card system set up, and ready to take new powers.
I haven't sorted out lives or the scoring system yet though.

But, do you have anything easy you might want me to do? You may have to guide through how to use Kirby and stuff, but I might be able to help.
...
Where's blaman? I wanna see what he's done with the set... *yawn*
Did he go somewhere?
Also, I asked Gleeok and Beefster for help with scripting. Hopefully, they want to. That reminds me... I wonder how Gleeok's Grikarugan is coming...

Sorry fro not replying, but I'm still here!
I know it's not much, and they're not amazing, but here's two shots I did, using both new stuff I ripped, and previous stuff in the set:

Sorry. Don't wory though, work is still being done!
