I despise typos (typoes? ). Usually I'm the one correcting other people. This is a big eat-own-words moment. I feel humbled and strangely serene... Th-thanks for catching it, at least...

I've noticed typos before (not necessarily from your quest) but usually I forget what the typo is and don't even bother to report it to the user cause I can't remember what and where it was, but that one struck a funny bone.

And yes, my screenname is mispelled on purpose. I am the Nash Villan.
Now can you please put down the machetti and slowly back away? heh heh.

I never did find the other end of that cave that supposedly had a bunch of leevers in it. The cave that led behind the large bush? The one you're supposed to find if you wanted the red candle? I never did find that cave. I'm wondering if there's a HP in that cave too... see... I currently have 11.75 Heart containers. (and 5 MC too) I've been sitting on that number for a while now. Need one more HP to be eligible for the magic sword. "Sorry, magic sword rewards must be verified by a third party and is not transferable, also the creator can opt to lock out the top rewards at his choosing without prior notification or consent."

But I'm just one piece awaaaaay!

Otherwise I'll just beat level 8 with my white sword.

Look for somewhere higher up on the mountain (red mountain tiles) with Leevers crowded around a suspicious-looking ledge. (It looks like an E, if I remember right.) Bomb the wall there and a cave should open up.

For the life of me, I can't find the bow & arrow in Level 1. I have the ladder from Level 1, but nothing else from there. Help, please? Thx

Wait, the ladder was in level 1?! O_o I never got it, and still beat the dungeon AND Level 2... anyway, the bow will be right before the dungeon boss, and the arrows can be bought in a shop that is 1 screen left and up from the starting point.

The Ladder's not in Level 1, it's in Level 4.

I'm stuck again, and it's again at a place where no one else seems to have had a problem.

Where I'm stuck is Level 6 (which is tough, BTW). I have the map, compass and the book. I have 1 key. I've opened up almost all the map except for an area in the northwest that I can't seem to access, plus a few rooms in the northeast near the triforce room. I'm pretty sure I need the hookshot to advance and from reading through the thread I know it's in Level 6. Where is the darn thing? From the entrance how do I get it? I think I've checked every room, killed every wizzrobe, pushed every block, bombed every wall, and nothing.

HELP!!

Someone already had a problem with this. In the very lower-right corner of the dungeon there's a room with bats and a black block. Use the Wand and Magic Book to attack a bat right as it's flying over the block. The flame from the wand blast should turn the block into a staircase. This will take you to the northwest portion of the dungeon, where you'll find the hookshot.

Thanks. I knew that room/block was suspicious and I read the clue, but I guess it was a tad cryptic for me. I read the clue as just a hint on how to get the book. I already found the red candle and Level 7 so hopefully I won't need more help for at least a bit. Thanks again!

Edit: I do see now that question was answered, right at the same time my last question was answered. I skimmed the thread but missed that. Sorry. I'll be more careful if another question comes up. Anyway, finished Level 6 and I'm off to Level 7 tonight.

I had the same problem. Check my previous notes on this thread. It was answered. Hint: you need the book you just found.

Course it would help if I just scroll further down the page and see that it was answered already!!! Heh heh, yes, it was me that had that problem. Except my problem went alittle bit further when I walked into that room only to find it empty. I thought "now what?".

EDIT: Right now I'm looking for level 9.1
Can't seem to find the one statue to use the fire boomerang (well, I found one that didn't go anywhere).

Ugh, you're right. I checked it out, and that string should CLEARLY declare NORTH.

Okay, so that's two bugfixes in order now, both of them being string-related... Thanks for your help.

I finished Level 7 so I now have the mirror shield and I also bought the raft. I explored a bit and found what I think is the entrance to Level 8 in the Northeast. It's blocked by a block and a green rotating tile that reflects magic. I'm assuming I have to use my mirror shield to reflect magic into the block?

So my question is: How? Where should I stand? I've shot that thing 1,000 times but the magic reflects up or down if I stand to the side, or off to the side if I stand below it. I can't figure out how to get the magic to reflect back off my mirror shield. What am I missing NOW?

Great quest but to be very honest I'm getting a little frustrated by the difficulty level (And I finished DemoEX). After completing 7 levels, however, I'd like to try and finish it up.

Also, what is the best way to get money quickly? There's a lot of REALLY expensive items to purchase and I never seem to have many rupees.
