Have you tried using beta 13 instead of 14? 13 works on my mac, whereas 14 shuts down immediately after starting.

Guys, this quest is intended for 1.92B1.82. icon_eyebrow.gif So why don't you use that version to play it, Comix?

I finally finished this quest and it feels good. It got very tring at times but it was worth it. Good luck to all of you who take on this challenge!

As for the invisible enemies in Ganon's Castle, try and take out Ganon before you go for the cross..I know its hard but it is possible.

I'm the one that's using beta 13, and only because I wanted to play this on my laptop (which is a Mac, in which 1.92 b183 isn't available in as far as I know).

The game works absolutely fine so far, and is maybe just my computer.

Well if you have a good memory, the invisible enemies and rooms when you go for the cross are the same as the visible ones when you go for the Big Key.

icon_sigh.gif You could have at least started this quest in 1.92B1.82, Love For Fire. icon_eyebrow.gif
Heck, I'm using 2.10 to play this quest. icon_unsettled.gif

In the B PYRAMID, how do you get the triforce? I've gotten everything else. I thought maybe it was like the wall monsters to get the mirror shield, but it's not. Do I need something else? a whistle or something?

That's a good point..but the no rings in this quest are probably the main turnoff...i however think it's a challenge worth taking.

This quest will prove who truly is good at Zelda icon_smile.gif

I agree. I often find that after beating a quest I tend to get sloppy on my playing because of the rings. Towards the end of most quests, you feel as though you can take on anything because you have the black ring (or gold- whatever), this one you still have to CYA the whole game.

...
Not trying to double up here, but I still haven't figured out the B pyramid triforce in case anyone can help.

You need to get to the triforce room through the bossroom so you can kill the red knight, go back a couple of rooms to where the super octorocks were and walk down through the wall there. Go right a couple of rooms to line yourself up under the triforce room, walk up through the wall and there you are.

I was about to reply to you too but I see someone already answered it.

Speaking of B button pyramid, hiding inside of a Like Like with no shield to beat the Flame Gleok was one of the craziest things I have ever done in ZC.

What dungeons is the cross necessary for? I want to beat the B-Button Pyramid first if possible.

Ganon's Castle where you get the cross and Robber's Mansion.

Any tips on beating him. I've had him down to where I needed to hit him with the silver arrow, but I can't shoot him because of the (invisible) red bubbles, and when I CAN shoot the arrows, he's not ready to be hit.

OUCH! - what's up with all the bubbles!?!

Well I made it to the double-patra at the end of Robber's Mansion and had to walk away. This was after many hours and deaths, but it felt good to get that far. Awesome quest -- by far the hardest I've ever seen. Congratulations to gamers that have managed to finish this quest.

That double patra is the easiest boss in the whole game. Stay right there in the middle where the blue bubble is and wait for the patra to come to you. The bubble will be constantly hitting you keeping you from taking any damage at all.
