Just made it in the middle of Sword Valley in Xenoblade. Is this just me or is "the true identity of Metal Face" WAY overpowered? I'm at Level 49 right now and this boss is kicking my ass!

Yeah he is quite tough, I think I was at least level 50-52 to fight him. I can't remember what I did to beat him... Sorry icon_frown.gif
I wish you luck with that, the game gets a lot harder pass this point.

Oh and to let you know, I had to be at level 89 to beat the game, the final boss was quite hard (at least for me it was)

I don't remember having much trouble with the Fire Temple. O_o

What was it that confused you before?

Its the over all size of it and the fire maze thing with the boulders. and saving the gorons and all. I know I shouldn't have problems with it. but some reason I do >_<,
I know the level I KNOW I'm going to have issues with is the water temple, I just watched my mother go through it and and looked hard...
I'll be finishing up the fire temple if I can tonight.

It's pretty large, but not all that hard to navigate. Just examine every part of the room, look for bombable places, and a tip for the fire maze is to move slowly; the fire will pop up before you reach it and you know to avoid that section.

The Water Temple also isn't that bad, so long as you remember to sink underneath the platform in the middle chamber once you raise the water, since the key nearly everyone seems to miss is down there. There's a segment or two where you need to be really speedy, but that shouldn't be too difficult either.

Alright thanks for the tips!, TS. I'll be posting in the Official Game Achievements Thread when I get the Fire temple done, This'll be the first time I've ever made it passed the fire temple.

Yeah, like TS said, the Fire Temple isn't really hard. It's fairly linear actually; just be careful to notice bombable walls (they'll sound hollow if you hit them with you sword). The Water Temple is the worst, but just check your map, and make sure you visit all the rooms at every water level to see what's different.

In that case, I should really take my time when playing this game. I'm about 35 hours in right now. I should really do some sidequesting to grind some levels.

It looks like I will be playing the Last Story to go along with Xenoblade.

Almost done with Devil Survivor 2. I decided to take Daichi's route because I decided a neutral world is much better than a world with a merit system or a commie system.

Yeah you'll need to try to do every side quest and fight everything you can. I know that grinding in Xenoblade is quite annoying.
I say if you need some good levels, I would recommend Go find a decent Unique Monster you can beat.
After you fight and beat said Unique Monster, Just save and the reload your file and the Unique Monster monster will be right back. so it makes grinding a little faster.
NOTE: this can be done with normal Enemies as well.

Just finished "Sonic: Before the Sequel". Awesome game, and I'd recommend it to anybody here. The people who did the soundtrack actually got an e-mail from the guy behind the music for the official games, praising their work.

If you do play it, and are having glitch problems on the water level using Tails, let me know. I'll tell you a cheat to skip the level. Depending on how bad the glitch hits you (you can't grab air bubbles, lag causes the drowning timer to speed up), you might have to use the cheat to proceed.

So, you've never actually beaten Ocarina of Time before, or did you just get somebody to help with the Fire Temple/glitched your way past it?

Personally, I didn't like the Water Temple only because you're limited on weapons while underwater and it makes battle too annoying. Shadow and Spirit Temples weren't anything overly special for me, either. I did enjoy the final battle, though. I thought that was handled fairly well.

Yeah... I've never beaten Ocarina of Time, Most of the time I get so far and get bored. Or I get stuck somewhere, The last time I played I got stuck on the Fire Temple I lost one key somewhere and couldn't find it at all. and then I gave up.
And I've never asked anyone for help.... Scratch that I did ask my mother... >_<. But she just beat the dungeon like two days ago...so...yeah XD

I don't know about the water temple. But it seems like its really hard. Watching my mother play it and man did she rage quit many times xD.
But she got passed it about yesterday. Hahaha.
I know the spirit Temple looks like fun, I can't wait to go though it. I mean it does look like fun icon_smile.gif

I started playing The Last Story and all I can say is HOOOOOOOLY CRAP! It immediately got me hooked. The gameplay so far is outstanding and the graphics remind me of Shadow of the Colossus. I will be playing A LOT of this game as well as trying to finish Devil Survivor 2.

I think Xenoblade might meet his match with The Last Story.

I'm playing Divine Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga.

I just earned my ability to fly. My actual reaction. It's pretty neat being a Dragon.

Protip: Put buckets on peoples' heads to steal things, then head straight to Riften to join the Thieves guild so you can sell your stolen goods to them. Make moar cash that way.
