Did you make them?

The lava tiles however, are semi-custom. The colorization as they are is something I have done, but I will admit that they have come from Prince's Mystic Land tileset, and is a highly modified version of the Lava that could be found in say, the Pure Tileset and whatnot. It's kinda hard to find, but that's where they come from. Radien, however, is helping me get these well-modified to blend in with the DoR Tileset, and he'll eventually be submitting the overlays to the database. I'm considering whether or not to let the lava go, but at this time the lava graphics will remain exclusive to my quest.
On that note, I'm also trying to figure out a way to make the dirt not so repetitive, I know there's like two different tiles I can use for the dirt, but imo, I don't think that's enough. It's why I tried to break it up a bit with sand, but the overall area is meant to be one of burnt-out life, wherever the lava has happened to end up. Death Mountain is a volcanic mountain, or rather an active volcano, and with that, the lava will be all over the place in different forms of lava flows, lava rivers, and even lava falls as you see here.

I did brighten it a tiny bit, and I changed the treetops to the ones you sent me the other day.

I would make the tan grass slightly greener or a more vibrant orange, so its not to be confused with dirt or the cliff side. Other than that the palette and this screen is solid. Something like the following:

(i directly edited the palettes, the shadows would not look like that if I took them in game)

...
The shot on the left is the old hill, and the shot on the right is the new rocky, craggy cliff I am changing it to.
The problem is that it looks like a perspective error.
The way the surface of the cliff spreads out along the lower edge of the screen looks like I am trying
to make the top recede into the distance (but I'm not).
I just want it narrow beneath Link to look precarious, but it needs to spread out to match the fully
walkable screen below. I don't know if I should spread it out more, or remove the ladder tiles, or what.

I've got a screen that's giving me some trouble, and I'm looking for suggestions.

Remove the stairs. That should do it.

Definitely remove the ladder tiles. They screw up the perspective. I also think it would do the screen good to have the portion link is standing on not look like it's suspended precariously in the air but rather connect it down to the bottom section with a large drop off. Not sure I'm making sense, so I'll add an illustration.

Either the section between the two red arrows or the section between the two purple arrows should be solid mountain side.

This features absolutely splendid tiles. You ripped them in directly from MC, got them somewhere here or are they custom? It's a high quality house at least.

This is what I thought too. Because of the current shape it's as if it stretches out in the distance, if you do what Pokemonmaster said, it should fix the perspective issue.

I read you ripped them all and did the palettes. Unless, you were lying. (Which I highly doubt
Either way, it looks very nice! Next, it needs some children, a teacher, and things on the desks/counters!

Anyway,

Also regarding the kids/teacher they will be there when a certain event triggers thanks to the clever 2.5 features.
Also the screen looks good!
