Bug-Fix.
Here's how to get the Red Ring/Tunic:

I'm also currently attempting to add shortcuts to the Excavation, floors B-2 and B-3 that will trigger warps to either side of the entrance of F-1. I just wish they would actually work, is all. I guess I have to use Dmap tricks. Le'sigh.
Also made Windrobes and Mirror Robes slightly easier to deal with. They now have slightly more vulnerabilities. Also, the mirror robe was using Cset 9, which changes based on the Dmap's palette that you're in. Weird. I made it use Cset 8 instead. Looks fine. Also made it transparent because F^@# you, apparently. Dunno why that came to mind.
Also making a map of the excavation in Photoshop. B-3 is almost done. Though I'm working my way up.

Erm... I am... kinda... stuck with nothing o_O... this is weird xD (I can neither go forward nor backward, so I had to F6, this applies to marathon and it's F-1 variation)

Here I cannot proceed or see what is blocking me, lens of truth show nothing, it may be a problem with the layers, but I don't know...

Something weird happens here, if you walk back from the screen below you end up in marathon F-1 and cannot proceed to the screen up, but you can fix this by walking near the botton of the screen and magically return to just marathon...

So... I screwed up here didn't I? =P What was here by the way? Is there a fix? (I killed the aquamentus before getting the mirror shield, that was... bad... but getting there was even worse without the ms xD)

Anyway, I'm playing through it and fixing any of the bugs that I find on my own, so the next release will be a lot smoother.

The Crystal Mines boss should now work properly.
Dozens of graphics quirks are fixed.
It's now no longer possible to bypass the stairs in one of the entrances to the Crypt to get the key.
Fixed a bad warp in F-1 of the crypts where you pound a grave and there's a warp under it instead of dust.
Fixed a few enemy coloration errors, and adjusted a few stats.
The Red Candle now does four times as much damage. I might even give it some slashing sprites eventually. Considering how hard it is to find, it may as well be worth using.
The L3 Arrows now kill bubbles. This is not irreversible in case people protest, which is understandable. I think they block less powerful arrows now, considering that the only setting which allows this is "Block if less than 8 damage."
Many warps have been fixed.
Many walkability issues have been addressed.

By the way, did anyone here have any issues with keys in Blester? I found (and count) 3 keys in the rain and snow outside of the tower, but I really can't seem to find any inside the tower. Yet there are four locked doors that take normal keys. Very bizarre.

There is a key in the caves north of the tower. You need the 2nd glove to enter the cave. So once you get the 2nd glove you have to exit the tower to get the 4th key.
Also I have some other issues that ... actually perhaps I will download your latest version and do some testing before I post any of my bugs. Sounds like a plan , huh? Shadow, thanks for your continued hard work.

Then again, the fact that you can actually buy a key from Subrosia and one other place makes this not really matter.
By the way, for anyone who did actually find Subrosia: What sort of difficulty did you have getting there? How obvious or unobvious was it?

Edit: NEW bugs! YAY! =P

Here I cannot further push the block to return to the previous screen... it's blocked by the blue tile there, but the orange one doesn't block you, so... you have too f6


These 2 are examples where the spikes actually do nothing to you, so you can freely walk over them

The same, but in the excavation...

This piece of heart... I don't think it's possible to get it as of now... I tried everything, even trying to bounce the magic between tiles, but I was unsuccessfull... any tips? (the magic bouncer or whatever cannot be moved)

This is a weird graphical glitch, it shows bombs, but they do not flicker and it isn't a bombable wall...

Any tips for getting to those stairs? (I tried bombing the wall in the other side but it seems you're in a lower level and so the entrance is non existent... but I'm probably doing something wrong =P

Now ShadowTiger for your FAVORITE thing, YES, it is THAT thing! The LADDER TOGGLE! =D
I'm almost finished with marathon... I just need the boss key to get to the boss. Thank you for the bug exterminations ShadowTiger, we love you for that, because this is an awesome quest and you're awesome for putting up with all these nasty bugs that crawl everywhere here =)

Also, those guys in Subrosia, ... I have no idea why they're not talking.
I'll do my best to fix these bugs before I leave on Tuesday. Marathon is definitely one area that I haven't really been looking at as seriously as I should. ._. It's ... ... huge. XD
