@Mr. Pimpy: I don't know why, I think it's the colours and overall feel, but it kind of reminds of the nes sections in the game Yume Nikki. Not that it's a bad thing; those pixels are awesome. I'm not sure if you have plans to do so, but I'd suggest adding some sort of detail to the grass. Not something wide-spread, but just something to break the green up a bit. Are these sprites and the like just for fun, or do you have a game planned with these? Given the atmosphere given with these, I'd be interested it seeing them being used in a game or something.
I have the game engine and plot figured out but I keep changing the style of it. (Plus I haven't been able to find any programmers willing to stick by me.) I think I'm going to stick with this style, though, as it looks original and really suits my taste.
Btw is Yume Nikki any good? Looks like a very unique game.

Yume Nikki's a very unique game indeed, and I'm not sure if I can really explain it properly. It's interesting, going around and doing all sorts of sight-seeing and whatnot. There's no enemies to kill, no established story or way to lose. The atmosphere it creates is very interesting and is what kept me going. They're so strange, interesting and even disturbing, but it all adds to the effect, imo. And the abilities (known as 'effects' in the game) range from useful to just downright odd. There is an end, but I always found it more fun to just roam and explore and to find weird little things and all that fun stuff. I think the most interesting part is just seeing where you'll end up next. It's not like any game I've ever played, I can say that for certain.
I'd say give it a shot and wander around for awhile. It's definitely not a game for everybody, but it's worth giving a shot at least. I mean, it's free. There's nothing to lose.

First, here's a little animated pixel art of me with a gun walking:

And then here are a few traditional, graphite drawings:
Barn Owls
Natures Cry For Help
Happy The Clown
Enjoy

He reminds me of Streets of Rage 2...was he modeled after that style? It looks great none-the-less, but yeah, needs "bobbage"
What happens when Cecil meets Brian and Stewie?. Exactly what one would expect; relative questions, and confusion.

Also, now you can all meet Cecil's best friend, Raiden! It also shows my first attempt at shadows.

Second, if you want shadows to look really good, always apply three levels to them. A dark one, an intermediate, and the base color. This is easily done in photoshop if you have that, or even MS Paint to some degree. It just looks slightly better that way, but not overdone.
