My guess, or at least what I hope it's going to be is Hyrule field.

Would feel terribly out of place, if none of the other songs are orchestrated as well, but I too would hope it's Hyrule Field (an orchestrated Hyrule Field theme was played in one of the latest trailers, so it's actually not unlikely we've already heard it icon_razz.gif).

If I had to guess though, I'd assume it'd be the end credits. Makes the most sense to me, but I suppose we'll know soon enough icon_smile.gif

Meh, ZREO's already orchestrated every single song from the game. So no matter what song it is, you can hear the others too. And there's a good chance the ZREO version is better than the version in OoT 3D, whichever song it is. I'm guessing it'll be the ending theme. I do gotta ask though, why orchestrate just one theme? Why not the whole soundtrack? I don't really have any complaints about that; OoT had some good music, but really, go all or nothing. Don't throw in one just to tease us.

Now wouldn't it be awesome if the Horse Race were the orchestrated one, just to throw you off at the beginning and make you lose? icon_deformed.gif

I was wondering, "Why not include the option for both Orchestrated and Classic? Aren't 3DS cartridges supposed to hold more data than the Wii's, even 360's, game discs? Surely memory's not a problem..."

But then I read the latest "Iwata Asks," and they go into detail about how the music was specially created to sound satisfying, and always easily transitions to the next song, and other special qualities. I guess it would've been kinda hard to recreate that type of musical effect (such as the transition from Field, to Battle, to Intense Battle, back to Field) with orchestration...? Apparently, the guy who was remixing all the songs for orchestration was about half-way through when Kondo told him to scrap all that and stay true to the original tunes. icon_eek.gif

And, an interesting tidbit I found out while reading "Iwata Asks:" apparently, if you stand still, the music (at least, the field tune) softens and becomes less intense. I'll be honest, I never noticed any difference. But now that I've read the interview, I have a much higher appreciation for the masterpiece that Ocarina was. (which is right HERE, by the way)

Where did you get that?! XD

A single layer DVD can hold about 4.7 GB, while the double layered can hold about twice that amount. Now, Microsoft just issued a patch which allows for even larger disks, so no, the 3DS can in no way match the 360 (or the PS3/Wii for that matter) when it comes to space. For reference, the 3DS carts holds about 2 GB, though they could theoretically make better ones down the line. Either way, right now it cannot hold up icon_wink.gif

Also, always loved the "Iwata Asks" segments. Really inspiring stuff icon_thumbsup.gif

I heard it from a bunch of places before the 3DS came out. But, I just researched it, and apparently they are limiting the space to 2GB until further notice. Learn something new every day! icon_heh.gif (one such source: pre-release details)

What? Where does it say that it'll be found in the credits, or that this is indeed the song in question? For all we know, it's just a song they made for the trailer itself, which might I add is old, and I referenced it a few posts ago when talking about the possible theme itself icon_razz.gif

So yeah, what leads you to believe this is A: the song in question and B: going to be in the credits? I see no such information in this video icon_shrug.gif

(Side note: I don't speak, or read Japanese, so pardon me if said information was in said language icon_razz.gif)

If it is indeed the song (I kind of doubt it. Sounds more like really neat trailer music) I think it'd be better suited for the overworld. Damn would I ever be happy if that music was the Hyrule Field music though. It sounds great. icon_biggrin.gif

Um...Robin?
The whole point of the spoiler tags was to keep it hidden so people don't see it that want to keep it. I would put your post in spoilers o-o

Anyway, the source.

On another note, did anyone else notice Link's shield changed in size, both the wood and the design?

The U.S. commercial's out:

What do you guys think? I think it's pretty sweet-looking, personally. I can't wait to play in the fight against Ganondorf. icon_biggrin.gif

Edit: Didn't see that Lynker posted it already. Ah well.

I love that commercial. In fact, I love all the Zelda commercials, especially Link to the Past's Japanese commercial (I think it was ALttP, at least), and the English Oracle's.

I especially think it's cool how when (in the Ocarina of Time commercial) Zelda throws the ocarina at Link, and it shows Link's older reflection. A small touch, but means a lot to people who've played the game. icon_wink.gif And, I do wonder how the final boss battle goes! All that fire and stuff-- I never thought of those yellow beams of light as flames, but ah well.

Also, any word on whether or not the blood is kept in Ocarina of Time 3D? Like, in the Well, and when you beat Ganondorf's human form (when he coughs)? I hope they did-- green gunk just doesn't give the same feel. A feel of fear or intensity. Instead, it feels childish. :/

Well, I was kinda right about the orchestrated music.

Anyway, the commercial looks great! It really makes the graphics look amazing!
