I just beat the 6th Gym Leader. She was the easiest so far.

My Current Party:

Samurott (Lv. 40)
Krookodile (Lv. 40)
Duosion (Lv. 39)
Leavanny (Lv. 39)
Eelektrik (Lv. 39)

I need a Flying Pokemon, and I'm thinking of getting Rufflet for Braviary. He reminds me of Staraptor. I still need to know where I can get a Thunderstone.

I'm having so much fun grinding my Rufflet up to level 54. Then i've gotta grind my entire team up to level 65 so i even stand a chance against the Elite Four. Sigh...

Well, with the Lucky Egg, leveling up is easier. I'm thinking of dropping Levanny for Axew. Levanny is weak to 6 different types icon_frown.gif. Plus Haxorus, the final evolution of Axew, has an Base ATK of 147. icon_omg.gif

Teach it Dragon Dance and it will destroy everything upon it's way.

I was deciding between Dragon or Swords Dance. I think Dragon Dance will be more effective for a clean sweep so I do not have worry about Speed.

Seven badges down, one to go. Things have been a bit too easy, honestly, though I'm expecting a difficulty spike at some point.

My entire team's at Level 40 as well.

I really don't like the new names.

What the hell is a Haxorus. A dinosaur computer? Levanny... a levitating bunny?

They all sound like fan-made names thus far. icon_frown.gif

They also didn't call the fire starter Pignite, so minus 50 points from Nintendo. Looks like someone wont' be winning the house cup this year.

Actually, it's second stage is called Pignite. icon_razz.gif

On the subject of names, I am sill bummed about the lack of Smugleaf, Wotter, and Pignition.

Odd and punny names aside...

I just caught the second of the legendary trio, Virizion, in Pinwheel Forest. Either I'm just really lucky, or these legends aren't putting up much of a fight. I caught it in two Ultra Balls (though no Critical Capture unlike I did with Cobalion).

Honestly, Pokemon has had some pretty stupid names from the beginning like Ponyta and Dewgong. Conkeldurr is by far the worst name ever, though. It's even worse than Dunsparce.
Some of the 1st gen sprites were pretty bad too.

What did they do to Geodude? When I saw that thing the first time, I was all like "What the heck is that thing?"

Edit: To add to the freaks list, there's Ivysaur, Blastoise, Metapod, Kakuna, Pidgey, Golbat, Growlithe, Machop, Machoke, Machamp, Golem, Ghastly, and Eevee. And I'm not even counting the ones that are too large perspective wise. Just the ones that look derpy in general.

I have been busy with much things including school, and I haven't got ANY time to play the game.
But congrats on how far you guys are! icon_kawaii.gif

Eight Gym Badges are mine. Dang, Iris (or Drayden, depending on your version) is pretty tough, but then again, so are all final Gym Leaders.

Now I think I'll get my team to Level 45 before heading up to Victory Road.

Played a friend's copy, and I flipped out when I realized you could ACTUALLY CHANGE YOUR VIEW. I saw that in the trailer but I thought that was just a cutscene thing.

Way cool, I might actually have to get a copy.
