The Old Man is Sahasrahla! I knew it!
Are you sure about that? Sahasrahla is always depicted wearing yellow robes while this old man is wearing red. I feel like if Nintendo intend(o)ed for him to be Sahasrahla, they would have kept that consistent.

It is becoming more probable that Breath of the Wild will be delayed again to be released with the NX which hasn't been revealed. Nintendo is cutting it dangerously close not having any details released on the NX now so close to its planned release.
Though it could be possible that they are waiting for Nintendo Direct's 5 year anniversary to reveal the NX. However, I can say for certain that if no information is released this month there is a good chance that both the NX and Breath of the Wild is going to be delayed again.

Just as long as they don't go full Twilight Princess 2, and make Wii U owners wait even longer after the NX comes out for a release. ![]()

I almost wonder if 'calamity Ganon' explains how Ganon went from an intelligent foe to a raging beast, like he had a calamity or something which caused him to lose his mind. Eh, just rambling, I know.

As I recall, the reason Ganon was a mindless beast in the OoX is that his resurrection rites were not fully completed. Ganon then returned whence he came. I'd say that in LoZ Ganon has been 100% successfully revived, so not sure why he's more beast than thinker in that game and others.
This may not be a well liked post, but I believe Breath of the Wild will experience another delay.

I saw a video saying something like this. I don't get the premise of "no news = delay". There's no logic behind it.
Sure people are upset, but Nintendo has said they want this system to be a surprise, so is their secrecy any surprise?
I don't have an opinion either way, because there's no info to speculate from, and either way, we'll get it when we get it. Do we deserve a certain piece of tech to be developed and released at a certain time?
One thing is for sure, there is a huge demand for info, which you could call smart marketing (if you call the Wii TP release smart marketing, which I don't).

To be fair, how often have Zelda games been launch titles for the systems they've been developed on? I foresee them pulling a Twilight Princess again, and releasing it for the NX a few months after it comes out, then release it on the Wii U once they got more bugs figured out.

I'm doubtful they haven't crushed many of the known bugs at this point considering how long it's been in development. The extra pushback was not only to finish polishing the game, but also to port it to NX, a system that, for all we know, has completely different architecture than Wii U. From what it sounds like to me, they pretty much have the Wii U version all figured out, now they just have to make sure the NX port functions properly as well.
I also highly doubt they'll do a delayed launch again due to backlash, not just from the Twilight Princess experience, but fans are already upset about Wii U losing out on its most enticing exclusive, some even stating they bought one just for this game and feel upset by the "betrayal." I don't think they want to anger Wii U owners further by delaying the launch of the original version. Hell, I'm still a little upset myself; I'm certain we would have the game before the end of the year if there were no NX shenanigans involved. I don't want to entertain any notions of a Wii U launch delay.
If anything, I wish they'd just give us the Wii U version early if the NX gets delayed again. Maybe not the smartest business move I admit, but damn it I want it.

Nintendo is obligated like every other company to be sure that investors are confident in their product. Delaying the reveal this close to release is a very risky marketing move. For investors to be confident in your business decisions there are still some rules you need to follow.
I doubt there are any investors involved in this conversation, or the other online posts I've read.

Uhhhhg, this is actually worse than TP's delays, imo.

Apparently this leaked ahead of the NX/Switch reveal, though was hidden:
It doesn't show anything new though. Seeing "BGM" in the title makes me wonder if it's just a way to show off their new trailer music. Too bad it still has that weird, jarring cut in the middle.
