Anyway, I never owned a rumble pack so I never used the Stone of Agony. Nice of them to include something like this, though. That is, if it does play sounds instead of rumbles. Which would be the most logical thing to do.

Release isn't too far away from now. Unfortunately I have no 3DS nor plan to get the 3DS so I'll just be watching videos and deciding whether it's worth getting or not. :3 (Not like I can have stuff spoiled for me. XD) I'll probably get it as my first 3DS game, but again, I'm waiting on something like the 3DS Lite (or whatever they'll call it) with all sorts of improvements. They've got a track record of doing stuff like that, so I'm pretty confident that if I wait, it'll be worth it. :3

Meh, I never saw the worth in it. I have the original GBA, not an SP or a Micro, and it still works fine for me. I have an old DS Phat, and it's working great too. I got my 3DS, and I see nothing wrong with it. Perfect size and shape, great paint color, battery life is fine (longer than my DS's, in fact), etc. Plus, whenever the Lite comes out, it'll cost more money as well.

Now, I've read that they won't be making any sort of reiterations in the short term, but I still plan to wait and see if they come up with something. Maybe a new battery or improved 3D? (Not that I'd care on the latter; I can't stand this whole 3D trend.
Besides, what's the worst that can happen from waiting? The new system not existing, forcing me to buy the now (presumably) cheaper original as well as having a larger library of games to select from?
I will admit, though, that it is tempting to get one now. But again, if I can get some better battery life as well as some improvements on the hardware, I'm willing to wait a little while. :3 Plus, there aren't many games that interest me right now that are readily available.
Back on the subject of Zelda, though. I've never used the stone of agony before as I never owned a rumble pack. Would anyone care to enlighten me on exactly what kind of secrets it rumbled for? I figure stuff in dungeons and whatnot, but did it work for those stupid obscure things like playing the song of storms next to a tree to open a hole? (I imagine it would, as those would probably be the best way to use it. But hey, you never know until you ask.

That's just it; the 3DS's battery life ain't that good. 3-5 hours at its peak isn't enough when you're travelling around a lot and have no access to a charger. If they make a new one with longer battery life, it'd easily be a selling point for me.
It's more than that. From my personal experience, it got 5 hours with the 3D cranked all the way up, screen brightness on the highest setting, fancy graphics mode on, and full volume. It's lasted me through an airplane ride AND a long car ride after that, so unless I have an absolutely terrible concept of time, it's got plenty of battery.
I would like this. I'm a bit disappointed with two things about the 3D. One, it's all sink in 3D; nothing really pops out of the screen at you. And second, I stopped playing it five minutes ago, and I can still see the center of this screen sinking in, then popping out, then sinking in, like a heartbeat. Not that I mind it (it's actually REALLY) cool looking, but it can't be good for my eyes.

Wow, it's amazing what our brains can make us see! Perception is a very strange sense...
@ Keiichi123
He got a press release version, which is the same as the normal game, just it's released earlier and given to people (or, rather, websites and magazines) that Nintendo believes are popular or otherwise influential enough that an early version is warranted, whether the reason being for a full review on the release date or something else. Mases (the guy in the video) is the head moderator of ZeldaDungeon.net, and apparently, Nintendo believes that they're influential enough to receive a press copy. So did the owners of ZeldaUniverse and ZeldaInformer. I imagine IGN and other popular sites got the same thing.

Anyways, for anyone who wants that ocarina, you can get it over at Songbirdocarinas. I'm not sure if its the same one (as I have not gotten mine yet) but it looks identical (I already own one), so yeah...
But yeah, Nintendo sends out stuff like this to anyone who deals with press-related websites, or anyone who gives them press in general. Obviously Zelda Dungeon is a place aimed at their franchise, so they're simply supporting their supporters, I guess you could say. They're extra lucky too, cause they don't have to write a review of it if they don't want to >_<

so they're simply supporting their supporters
For some reason, that reminded me of the line in Portal "Thank you for helping us help you help us all."
