The block puzzle on the first floor of Level 9 took me many, many attempts.

Yeah, takes me a couple of tries, too, and I've been going through it since it was first made. ^_^;

You guys enioyed that block puzzle and do not feel bad that is the hardest block puzzle in the game, and I dont make too many of them to begin with, reasons are that I am to lazy for block puzzles and I get bored making them if I made to many of them. Just like how I forgot about spike traps, shooters, and bubbles a lot when making this quest (explains why there was they made so little of an appearance in ToC), I just kept defaulting to putting bats/keese instead and I dunno why I kept going to that enemy.

The ice block puzzle on L9 floor 3 was a toughie as well although it didn't take me as long as that block puzzle.  I'm now at Xanafer.  Not asking for help...yet.

Edit:  Is there a use for the L3 lamp?  Haven't found one.

Nope just a fun item, it is just to boost the damage of the red candle to make it competitive with the other items, and good luck on him he can be a taxing boss and does what ever he feels like doing.

So is he only vulnerable during the one attack where both sides open up?  Or am I missing something?  Because if so that's incredibly annoying.  In 15 minutes he gave me one offensive window.

Yes remember those knights gave a hint on how to make him truly vulnerable was the combination of that weapon and the mystic sword. there is two ways to make him weak to those attacks and since he is on a random schedule there is no way to guarantee that he will make those moves.

One is that what you described and the other is a little more obscured to do.

NOTE: SCKnuckles took on the challenge to LP this quest and currently is in level 4.

Where's the dungeon map of level 1? Got the compass, boomerang, beat the boss and ended the dungeon, but couldn't find the dungeon map.

The dungeon map is behind the bookshelf in the basement with some stalfos where you had to bomb the floor to get in.

The spacebar map should also work for the majority of the game if you cannot find the map.

Thanks. Another question, i'm in level 2 and there's this room with a treasure chest surrounded by those blocks that go up and down. I kill all the stalfos, push the upper right block up, it does the sound that something has happened, but it seems to do nothing.

Is this a bug or intentional?

all four of those blocks around the room have to push in a certain order it is a multi-tier puzzle, it will do a secret sound for each one but I do not think the game will do it every time.

As a side note ToC will be getting a major update probably in the next few weeks to clean up what was discovered in SCKnuckles LP he is finishing up level 5.

NOTE: SCKnuckles took on the challenge of LPing this quest and he is currently in level 5.

I genuinely thought my controller was spazzing out when Link was changing to random items and going back forth. Guess it's a status effect caused by being hit by one of those transparent snakes.
