This game is special. You need every single rupee you find until you run out of things to buy. Then, you suddenly get thousands of rupees within minutes.

I went all the way for curiousity reasons.

But when he got angry, I wondered if I screwed something up and decided to check it out online just to make sure I didn't.

From what I heard, it's completely random. Sometimes he'll give you as much as a few rupees before he gets mad. Others have stated he didn't get mad until after 3 gold rupees.

Also, if you save and quit, stop playing, and than play the game again, the entire thing starts over as if nothing ever happened. It's an easy way to gather rupees if you're twisted enough.

Finished the first dungeon on my three heart run, and skipped the heart container there so I guess my run has truly started

I can tell this is going to be good old classic fun right here.

Just beat my first temple in Lorule on my 3 heart, no shield and no tunic/mail run. Thieves Town. This is gonna be fun .__.

Three more dungeons left. And I still haven't gotten the L3 sword. lol

Beat the Ice Ruins last night, and now I'm in the Skull Woods.

Just got to the dark world on my 3 heart run, so far I haven't died yet came close to getting a gameover in that last Yuga fight though. *sighs*

Am I the only one who's not using bottles or anything? If I die, I force myself to start back from where I died. That's why I'm saving often.

I had to abandon my three heart run, friend was playing picked up the heart containers and saved it didn't tell me about...I just found that he did damn.

Oh well I guess I;ll do it another play through I'm just going to play it normal I guess.

Yeah gotta love when that happens. But at least gives me a better chance to play the game one more time on normal and this time I guess I'm turning this into a 100% game file if I can. Next run will be a 3 heart run and I'll hide the game from my buddy next time. :\

....Now you're making me want to continue my run! The Turtle Rock boss is hard with 3 hearts, no shield and no tunic. One hit and you're out!

 

After that is the Desert Palace and then I'm done!

 

Edit - Wow, I beat the boss like right after I posted this. Maybe it was a good luck charm! Now I'm in the final palace.

Finally finished regular mode.  Ended up dying twice in the long run, and made about 13k rupees.  I didn't try very hard, more just beat it without caring much.  I might do a 3 heart challenge.  I beat OoT, MM, LA, WW, and TP with 3 hearts, so I'm sure I can do it in ALBW.

I'm sure you can as the game isn't really that hard. You just got to take your time and thing about how to tackle enemies without taking damage.

And make use out of the boomerang and tornado rod (Whatever its called) and you'll be alright.
