Aw man, that's the first game I'm going to play when I get my Vita. I even bought it off PSN in advance while it was on sale. icon_razz.gif

Ever since I sold my MW3, I started to play Battlefield 3 a lot more. It got a lot more fun for some reason.

And I'm on vacation this week and I played a lot of Ghost Trick Phantom Detective. Excellent puzzle game. The only thing that sucks about this game is that its made by Capcom. icon_razz.gif

Cool, I never bought MW3. I bought Battlefield 3 because of the diverse setting. You can drive with tanks, fly with jeeps, use many weapons and so on. I think it's more varied than the ground troops - setting of MW3.

On my vacation I'll go to Spain and swim in the sea icon_slycool.gif

Started Arkham Asylum up again (as if you couldn't tell by my avatar change icon_biggrin.gif), since I've been on a bit of a Batman kick. Probably will transition to Arkham City, though I wasn't a huge fan the first time.

I've been playing star ocean 4. Just got everyone of my party members up to level 60. and I have all their HP pass 20000.
I feel quite good about that. I'm at the end of the game just grinding now for levels. and SP farming at Aeos. that's about it.

And also I've been playing Ocarina of Time but I forgot that I deleted my save file long ago. so I had to restart <_< (Oh well...)

Started playing a bit of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X, since I've never really gone through and beaten it ever. It doesn't feel right somehow, maybe because it was for Xbox, which is the same era as the more advanced Tony Hawk games that sort of make it feel dated; it didn't feel as strange playing these games on their original consoles, for example. But it's fun enough.

Back from vacation:

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective - I was able to play halfway through this game. So far, AMAZING story. Probably one of the best storylines I've seen on the DS. Definitely going to finish this one.

Devil Survivor: Overclocked - I decided to finish up Amane's 8th Day story arc. It was alright. The boss was a little disappointing. Amane's still a beast though. icon_naughty.gif

Devil Survivor 2 - Got to the 6th Day. I think the beast in DS2 is Otome. She DESTROYED the Day 5 Boss. If you are playing this game, don't you dare get her killed.

Tales of the Abyss - Got really far into this game. The 2nd playthrough is where the REAL fun begins.

Well, I completed the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 career, unlocked the "2X" career (which only had three levels) and cleared that, unlocked the THPS1 career and 100%'d that. All that's left is 100%'ing the other two careers, but instead, I'm gonna hop on over to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and complete that game again. After that, I'll move to Underground and Pro Skater 4, saving the best for last. icon_heh.gif

Heh, that didn't take long to deal with THPS3. Beat the career mode quickly, but I'm pretty certain that was the point. However, I had literally zero interest in playing it for every single character in the game, which is nearly twenty characters, so I just used cheats to unlock everything. This requires entering a cheat for each character, though, as well as playing at least one stage to register the completion, though you can quit as soon as you start it; still pretty tedious, but not as much as playing the career mode all the way through with each character. Will probably do something similar for THPS2X if such cheats exist. After I 100% the 2 and 2X careers legitimately, that is. So glad that THPS4 combined all careers into one long one that you can complete with anyone...

Next up: Tony Hawk's Underground. Will likely start that tomorrow if not later tonight. Then will come the best of them all, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4...

I need to get back into finishing Star Ocean 3. I'm in the part where Sophia and Peppita rejoin the party and where the story completely screws up causing everyone to throw their PS2 controllers on the screen. Seriously tri-ace, what the hell is wrong with you coming up with a plot twist like that?

Resonance of Fate is still my favorite tri-Ace game. I think the problem with Star Ocean is that they overwhelm you a bit too much. A save anywhere feature in Star Ocean 4 would be nice especially in the Wandering Dungeon that could take you 6 hours straight to complete due to lack of save points. And bosses just have WAY to much HP. Aramos Manifest (the boss that summons scorpions) was one of the most painful bosses I have ever faced.

Yeah I know what you mean about overwhelming saomeone. I wished they had a save anywhere in SO4, but they don't.
I was able to do the bonus dungeon in SO3 becuase I had a gamehark that had a save anywhere cheat and I abused that so much its not even funny.
But I did beat the super boss of that 211 floor he** hole <_<

Makes me think of New Super Mario Bros. You earn the ability to save the game anywhere you want only after completing the game 100%. I use a flash cart, and had to play with the save-anywhere cheat just to keep from going insane. The entire point of a portable system is being able to play in short bursts if you want. Otherwise, just turn on a console game.
