I am just entering the Dessert Temple and it says it is level 4. I already have 4 tripieces so it is a little confusing.
Hm let see. Dessert Temple is level 5 , level 4 is the big pyramid in dark world if i remember it right.

Master Sword Journey
Level 1: Hyrule Castle Dungeon
Level 2: Icy Lava Dungeon
Level 3: Sacred Forest Meadow
Level 4: Pyramid of Power (Dark Hyrule Castle)
Souls of Wisdom Journey
Level 1: Fire Temple
Level 2: Water Temple
Level 3: Shadow Temple
Level 4: Desert Temple
Level 5: Gloomy Temple
Level 6: Skull Forest Temple
Level 7: Temple of The Heavens
Level 8: Temple of Sages
Final Level: Ganon's Castle
-- spoiler warning--
What creates this confusion is the 4th Triforce piece, the Soul of the Manji. But if you recall, that Triforce piece is located within the Pyramid of Power and is the true shard of the temple of sages. As you may have noticed that temple map shapes the Manji Symbol. It's a unique twist to collect the Triforce piece of a dungeon long before you even enter it, but even though the temple of sages is the true temple of Manji, you instead receive the Triforce of Power (which you lose almost instantly), and you recieve the silver arrows for completing this dungeon.
Let me elaborate, the Soul of Manji was originally kept in the Temple of Sages, however when the Souls of Power moved in along with the Undead Diety, being such a temple be linked to triforce. Zelda had no other choice but to relocate this shard into the Pyramid entrance to keep it out of evil's hands, than seal the entrance of the temple of sages to buy link time to complete his journey. When Link collects this shard, he is pulled into the realm of chaos located deep within the temple of sages and is forced to encounter the undead Diety who senses Link's presence in the Pyramid of Power. That seal is to remain until Link can obtain all 8 shards of the Triforce of wisdom.

Actually, I created confusion here. The levels don't correspond with the Triforce pieces. I will lay confusion to rest right now.

Thanks for putting the level info up and about the triforce. I have 6 triforces now and haven't finished the Forest Temple.
When I went into the Desert Temple it said level 4. I believe when I went in the Gloomy Temple it said level 6. Now I just went into the Forest Temple and it said level 7.

How did you enter the castle? There are only two ways to the castle. You get warped there after you beat temple of sages, or you take the passage to death mountain, which needs Tge silver arrow. The arrow you are describing is the magic arrow. Unless you beat temple of sages you shouldn't be able to enter death mountain. But you managed to, so I believe there is a bug.
I was checking one of my .sav file -- if you read my post #288 a while back..
Its turn out I beat the snort of that bunch of sages and stuffs and everything!!
was checking on that "silver arrow '
actually I'm playing another .sav file and doing the sky temple
PS< forgot how I can get that silver arrow .. for real ,,,,, no a fake one
So mostly I think is after killing all those sages I finally get that arrow..(well no to sure though)
